Ever wanted to know how the laser cut badges on acrylic you always see around are made? Well take a look at this video here, by the company Tabs and Slots.

I don't have much inspiration to draw, and it seems like more likely than not, I don't draw unless someone asks me to.

First order of business: fursuiting. My boyfriend and I are interested in making fursuits for Anthrocon in a few years. We don't have any experience though, and we can't really afford to experiment until we're good at it. We know we can easily do the bodies and paws, but we'd rather have good-looking heads. Would it be simple enough to get the heads made professionally and make the bodies ourselves? TL;DR: Can we get the heads done professionally and make the rest ourselves?

Second topic: Looking for friends that are furries because none of my current friends understand. If any of you are into the art and crafty part of furries rather than the yiff or fetishes, let me know. We could rp or just talk and stuff, doesn't have to be about furries. If you're from the Nebraska/Iowa area then maybe we could meet up too. (:

In the last 24 hours or so I've almost entirely disillusioned with the furry fandom. I watched a furry on twitter proceed to capture and eat a live gecko, film it, and post it on youtube to fulfill his vore fantasies.

After myself and one other person explaining to him that A. he just tortured an animal to death and B. He's likely to get incredibly sick, he brushed us off and said he enjoyed it and plans to do it again.

I've since put in animal cruelty reports for this person with multiple entities, but many of the furries I've seen react to it or respond to me don't seem to feel the way I do. It's surprising to me the number of people who are egging him on, begging him to make more videos from different angles, and telling me that I'm overreacting. "It's just a lizard." and "Whatever makes him happy." is a refrain I keep hearing.

I used to think that part of the furry fandom was feeling some affinity, kinship, or at the least affection for animals. The last 24 hours have pretty severely affected my opinion on that. I don't know that I care to continue associating myself with a group who places sexual gratification at any cost (including animal cruelty) at the top of their priorities.

Basically I'm interested in hearing other furries' reactions about this. I'm holding onto the hope that it's not the whole fandom, just a handful of people that I can easily enough avoid, but my experiences up until now have not supported that hope.

hey everybody me and my friend are 15 will be 16 and 17 at the time but we plan on taking a roadtrip to vancoufur 2013 does anyone know the dates. also we live near toronto in southern ontario so wanted to know if it would be worth the 3 day drive. p.s. i know anthrocon is alot closer but my parents refuse to let me go driving in the states
