Pi-Rats (and Others) in the Sky!

In-Fur-Nation - Sat 29 Dec 2012 - 14:31

Pirate 101 (from Kings Isle, the same creators as Wizard 101) is an on-line multi-player role-playing system of pirate adventure and battle — in the sky, no less. Yep, flying pirate ships.  It’s a decidedly family-friendly game throughout, though it has “adult” and “child” areas as part of it. The interesting thing is this: As you can see from the preview trailer, and in the picture below, there are plenty of anthropomorphic player characters to be had and played, as well as the more traditional human sort. Visit www.pirate101.com to find out how to get started with the game.

For you 90s kids out there you might remember a show called SWAT Kats: The
Radical Squadron. Despite being popular, it was canceled partway into its
second season.

Recently, Christian Tremblay (a co-creator of the series) announced that
there were plans to bring the series back into production (although there is

Naughty Doggy and a Martian

DailyFurBlog - Sat 29 Dec 2012 - 11:41
I guess this sort of connects to the fandom world. Over on most of the furry sites many have posted this, but I just got around to checking it out. The director/writer ” Alex Zamm” has been known for some hokey kid movies like “Inspector Gadget 2″ and “Tooth fairy 2″ which are good for when you need a laugh. The newest of the creations though definitely brings out the really funny. “Marvin the Martian” and “Hong Kong Phooey” which are both great cartoons were made CGI and real life. There are little intro videos are on Vimeo check them out. There is some crude adult humor which makes them all so much better for our generation.

Review: ‘The Cunning Little Vixen’, by Rudolf T?snohlídek

Furry News Network - Fri 28 Dec 2012 - 22:25
Author: Fred This nature novella about forest life, particularly of a young vixen, in Central Europe around the early 1900s, is barely anthropomorphic. But it is the inspiration for Leoš Janá?ek’s popular 1924 opera of the same title, in which the forest animals are anthropomorphized and sing a lot, so it is worth reviewing here. [...]
