I am going to Baltimore's Otakon this weekend and thought it would be nice to meet some other furries there and possibly make some friends as I have almost no friends that are furries. So, anyone going?

Good day, /r/furry! First off, I'm sorry if this post violates any rules, but I'm desperate to find someone I was chatting with on Omegle earlier today. My tablet's battery ran out mid-conversation, much to my dismay.

If your fursona is a fox, you write science fiction, you ate delicious 'Mac and Five Cheeses' at a restaurant in/near your hotel today, and the keywords "On the Case with Paula Zahn" ring any bells, you are probably my missing chat partner.

I'm posting on the off chance that this person actually visits this subreddit enough to see a post that will probably be immediately buried under other posts. Honestly I have no friends who identify as furries, let alone understand the fandom, so I'd really like to find this person.

There is a general consensus that Weasyl has a better interface, as it was created in response to complaints made about FurAffinity.

Overall the fandom has stuck with FA since Weasyl has launched and has not made any effort to change accounts and get the people watching them to do the same.

With that in mind, why has the fandom continued to use FurAffinity as its main site? If there was a greater migration, would you switch over to Weasyl as well?
