“On an alternate Earth, a griffin officer searches for his missing daughter, and uncovers a secret so terrible it could end his world.” That’s the author’s basic description of Griffin Ranger, a new fantasy novel project by writer and artist Roz Gibson (creator of Jack Salem). She further goes on to describe it this way: “Griffins, parrots, anthro wolves and little raccoon/lemur creatures! Lots of action and fighting! A bird-of-paradise griffin who hates getting his feathers mussed, but they end up very mussed by the end of the book!” There’s a Kickstarter campaign now to finance completing and publishing the project. The book will feature illustrations by Roz Gibson and a cover by Wolf-Nymph.

I'm unhappy with my skill so I want practice, and also I'm feeling generous so feel free to drop your requests here. Obviously we gotta keep it SFW here but if you want a porn drawing, I'll have to send it to you through reddit mail. Keep in mind I'm only doing sketches, and if I like one or two enough I might do lineart.

A few guidelines to get a drawing from me:

• NO, I WILL NOT DRAW YOUR REQUEST IF YOU DON'T GIVE ME A REFERENCE. Seriously, I'm not here to design your character for you. I have other people to get to. Please don't waste both of our time by asking anyway. I would hate to know you just posted without reading.

• If the character you request looks anything like this, please don't expect me to draw it. Nothing personal, I'd just prefer to not draw shitty characters. (Also, they're unecessarily complex. Again, I have other people to get to.)

• In regards to porn drawings, all I ask is no scat, vomit, cub, gore, or any other hardcore weird stuff. (All genders/sexualities are cool, though.)

• If you don't get a drawing, sorry, but I can't get to everyone if there's like 15 or more requests. Maybe next time, eh?

Edit 1- 10:54 p.m. PST: I'm here guys, I'm reading all your requests and am starting now. Had a little run in with a few things, but I'm yours for the rest of the night. I'm gonna power through as much of these as I can. You can still throw requests my way, I'm making ones that actually say what they want their characters doing my highest priority. If yours is more specific than one here, you're probably gonna get it done first.

Edit 2- 12:48 a.m.: SPECIFICS, PEOPLE, SPECIFICS! Please stop just saying "Draw my character", that doesn't give me enough to work with. Plain standard poses are boring and that's not what I'm here for. Thank you, and for those who actually are requesting specific things, I highly appreciate it.

Dear Papabear,

I'm an avid reader of your letters and I was wondering if you might be able to help me out.

To start, I'm a 21 year old gay male who is currently single and I can't seem to find a way to stop this depressing feeling of loneliness in my life. I've got a great, supporting family and two wonderful groups of friends I've made through high school and college that I see on a semi-regular basis but the thing is, almost everyone of my friends has found a relationship. Even my friend nicknamed "Crazy [Dan]" has found someone.

I've managed to get into a relationship twice before, but sadly, they both ended badly (the first made me feel like I was being controlled and the second was so quiet I felt like I couldn't do anything with him). I've thought about trying online sites like E Harmony but searching for someone didn't feel right to me.

One of my friends has expressed that she would like me to find someone close by and while I agree with her, I haven't a clue how to start. I mean, I can't just walk up to some guy and ask if he's gay.

What can I do to find someone I can feel comfortable sharing my life with?

Dear Aiden,

Having lived in Michigan for over 20 years, I can tell you that it’s certainly not the best place to be a gay man, but there is some hope there, and I agree with your friend that you should find someone local. First of all, though, I would wager that your first two boyfriends were furries, yes? And were they just online friends? I could be wrong, but if not, I suggest you broaden your scope to all gay—local—men to increase your chances of finding someone.

Secondly, you’re right, you just don’t approach someone—usually—and ask if they’re gay and interested in you. What you need to do is find a hang out with those like yourself so you can socialize with gay guys and make friends, some of whom may become more than friends.

While there are some gay bars in Michigan, I don’t know about you, but I don’t find those places to be very good for finding potential mates. It’s possible, but I just find bars unpleasant. Instead, I would like to suggest you check out places like The Network’s Men’s Social Group. I believe it’s based in Grand Rapids. The problem is you weren’t specific about what city you were in, but if it’s Grand Rapids, you’re golden. In Detroit—if you like bears ;-)—there’s Motor City Bears. You might also try joining an organization such as Equality Michigan, which has events you can participate in while also getting involved in the political side of the LGBT community. In short, try finding a local gay social network near you.

As for dating sites, if the above doesn’t work for you (and dating sites CAN work, so don’t feel weird about it), there are some that are gay-specific, rather than trying EHarmony, such as Compatible Partners, One Good Love (which looks particularly good, I think), and, for the very serious, Gay Marriage.

So, that’s what I would recommend for you, Aiden. Try to get some social contact with gay men out in the real world and outside of the bar scene, and maybe give some of these gay dating sites a try.

I've implemented SoFurry mirroring capabilities, twice, and I'd like some info about the site since I've never been there in the last ... idk ... 4 years?

I want to know. Is there any content only allowed to registered users?

Currently the bot behaves like an anonymous user (unlike FA) and I have yet to find a blocked page, I also noticed that SF is quite SFW which is kinda suspicious.

As usual with any new release, report any bugs an feel free to abuse the bot at /r/furaffinitybotping. Triggering and reporting a bug allows you to name the next release.

I only hope /u/fxscreamer's posts don't trigger a bug yet again (jk, u are awesome fx ;)

Also, I made a simplistic flair icon and wanted my bot to have it, but /u/copperbadger improved it quite a bit. And that is the flair icon I'm currently showing. Thanks! ^_^
