Deer and Wolf, Defenders of Nature
We came across this new full-color comic book series from Chapterhouse called Spirt Leaves, written and illustrated by Rossi Gifford from Scotland. “Freya, an albino deer girl training to be a shaman, sets off to the mystical forest to find out what is causing an imbalance. Along the journey, she meets a wolf boy looking for the same entity, and they agree to find it together. Both are determined to pursue this force and prove they are capable on their own – but how do you stop a demon?” There’s a whole lotta information and preview pictures over at Bleeding Cool. Spirit Leaves #1 is on the shelves now.
Here's a sergal on a cupcake, a certain post ruined my mood so I'm trying to fix that. (Art is not mine, I'll try to find the artist and link)
Been practicing my art every night for the past month. Finally made myself a ref sheet.
Hey, so I'm new...
I've only been interested in this community for about 6-8 months right now, so I don't feel like I can say that I know the ropes of it yet. Which is sorta why I've been lurking for about 2 months now. So is there any way I can get more involved here?

I also liked Better Days, even though I don't agree with a lot of Jay naylor's opinions

Casual Confursation #3
Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! With this post I'm trying to shift the discussion more heavily towards everyone else so I'll be offering like 2 or 3 topics but definitely want you all to post your own interests/points of discussion. Please leave feedback and suggestions - this'll be the last time I really preach what the plan is so from now on it'll just be for fun and your own enjoyment. If I could ask what you all thought about the posting time frame as well as the amount of content I should provide in these posts - I would greatly appreciate it. In other words - would a thread every 1-2 days be more appreciated than a weekly thread? And would a thread with specific topics like the past few be more appreciated than a general discussion thread where everyone brings up their own topics? (I still want the latter to be the main source of content but let me know what you all think!) I'll stop blabbing now - thanks for the help!
Hey Fellow Furs! Welcome to the thread series where we talk about the "normal" things in our lives with a uniquely furry twist. Everyone here has different interests and differing levels of activity within the fandom, and that provides a really interesting setting for discussion. We're an overwhelmingly receptive community, and we have a lot to share that often doesn't get discussed here in the sub, so take this as an opportunity to do so!
Answer as yourself or your fursona - just keep in mind both the rules of reddit and the sub - and above all else be casual! Be willing to discuss and learn about others or about new topics - whatever they may be.
Please remember that this thread should be driven by you, the members of the community! Do not feel restricted by just what is being discussed - if you want to talk about something - shout it out!
For this thread:
How'd you spend your weekend/week? Anything exciting or dreadfully dull occur?
Movie, Sporting event, or other plans that you are looking forward to?
Is there a part of the fandom you wish you could contribute to more?
Would a thread like this every 1-2 days be more appreciated than a weekly thread? And would a thread with specific topics like the past few be more appreciated than a general discussion thread where everyone brings up their own topics?

Artist Jasen Tamiia died this past New Years Eve in a home accident. (links/gofundme inside)
The title says it all, unfortunately, and the timing couldn't be worse. John Longenecker III, aka Jasen Tamiia, died this past New Years Eve in a home accident. This has been confirmed by his family, who made the unfortunate discovery. More details are on a GoFundMe page to assist with funeral costs.
