This will be my first convention with only a little bit of monthly furry meets. I am going with my girlfriend and a couple friends met at the meets.

So this link was comparing the price of actual castles to NYC apartments http://imgur.com/R0c7bJT. But it gave me a thought... one can apparently get a 45 bedroom castle for around $5 mil. That's about $100k per bedroom. D'you think 45 furries could each put together the money to start a furry kingdom?

So I've bitten the bullet/sold my soul and got myself a convention ticket for Confuzzled 2014 (staying in the hotel). So I've just really got a few questions on what to expect and see what other peoples con experiences are. Is there anything I need to really expect or look out for? I'm going by myself (don't have any furry friends but am going to a meetup to see if I can't make some) will this work against me? Any essentials I need to take? Also with con badges (I can't draw) is it worth getting something put on it? Don't really want to be plain and it'd be something nice to have I guess. So... To close this out, what are the best and worst con experiences? Thanks everyone! Stay awesome :)

I only just "came out" to myself about furry stuff.

Basically, all I care about is the art and the yiff (art, as in attractive drawings). I've never been into hentai or anything like that, so this is all really new to me.

Is/was anyone else like this?

So the other day I tried to draw a Fursona for myself, and I realized that I suck at it. Can anyone recommend a good tutorial or technique? I really love to draw, and I don't know why I'm finding this so difficult. Any feedback would be awesome. Thanks!

There have been quite a few threads of /r/furry recently about the societal, sociological, and cultural ramifications of if anthros had suddenly become a real thing in the world. A lot of interesting discussion has arisen from those questions, so I thought it would be intriguing to take it to its logical extreme: What would be the impact if everyone in the world suddenly became anthros? Besides the obvious, of course. How might things change to accommodate this? I just figured this would make a neat thought experiment.
