I did a little researchin' and found a bunch of "Furryesque" New Yorker posters
I wanted to see a cleaner and bigger shot of this (Neat find by /u/the_bi_lizard)
I did, plus I found an electronic version of the issue!
But, I also found a neat gallery containing all(most?) new yorker covers featuring animals.
So of course, I filtered them and I present to you a stupidly long list of "furry" New Yorker covers :D These are not their original title, but brief descriptions.
Bulls and bears on Wall street
Not furry, but too gorgeous to skip
Not furry, but too cheery to pass
Won't you get off the goddamn road!

Furries in high places?
TIL that Blitz, the Seahawks mascot, is a Microsoft employee. Not particularly relevant, but the odd combination made me wonder:
Do you know any furries in respectable positions, where nobody would expect a furry to be? Self is fine, but try to limit to people you know well.

It's time for another round of requests.
I'll be posting stuff here.
Give me a request, any pose, NSFW or not, and a reference.
I'll do them in the order I choose but I'll try to get all of them done.
Though I won't do something if it's too weird >w>
Edit: I seriously need a pose or situation, at least an idea. I suck at coming up with them lol

FurHouse looking for new faces! (Chat community, 18+)
Hi there! We have a small but well established community chatroom used for casual roleplaying (both sexual and nonsexual) and are looking for new members! Our room can be found here!
We are hoping to find members who want to make friends and have fun without starting drama. We are looking for members of all fur/scale types, genders, and orientations although our female, herm, scaley, and sergal rosters are pretty light.
Our population is, as yet, fairly small. We consist of ~40 regular visitors however our visiting hours are staggered so that there's generally only a small handful of people online at the same time during "off peak" hours. We have many gamers in our ranks as well as a few musicians and writers as well as graphic artists.
Our room is available to all users, although with some content being sexual in nature we request that only users ages 18 and over join up. We have a small team of moderators who enforce our sparing list of rules.
These rules boil down to:
1) Don't be a douchebag
2) You may only have one character in the chat at a time.
In the coming weeks we will also be hosting a "Haunted Castle" theme weekend where players are encouraged to build story RPs with their neighbors to play out in the room.
So come drop by once or twice to give us a taste or say "Hi!" @ The FurHouse!

New[ish] Furry, Wanting to know what I can do for apparel. [Don't upvote]
So I'm not really a new furry, but I'm open about it now that I've seen what awesome things people have done. I'm going to my first furrycon and I'm wondering what I can do to be visually a furry. I don't have the funds to make myself a fursuit, although I was a mascot and the suits are fun as hell! I want to have little things, I can throw ontop of my clothes, like maybe little ears or a fluffy tail etc. Any suggestions or ideas?
I'm more along the lines of a wolf/fox fursona if that helps.
edit: No one told me this fandom is flipping awesome.

White Wolf Commission for Redmight by Cybercat
Am I being difficult to an artist? (details inside)
Hey guys. Here's the story.
In May of 2013 I ordered a commission from someone at a convention, for the price of $50 total. I got a scan of the finished work TODAY. ~8 months later. At this point I see that the tribal markings and red highlights on my character were not there. I ask the artist if there is a way to get at least some of the red markings put in the piece. The artist tells me that they are unsure, as their work is physical, not digital. Email communication has been difficult the entire 8 months.
I got a new ref sheet done shortly after that convention, so I thought that somehow I never sent the artist any ref sheet. I was unable to find the email of me sending them a link to the 2nd sheet, but I did find me sending an email of the original ref sheet, which included the red highlights.
Ref Sheet 1 (I can confirm this was sent right after the convention
Ref Sheet 2, which I can not confirm sending, though I think I did.
Am I being difficult to this artist? Or am I in the right asking for the markings and highlights to be included? Is the artist screwing me over making me wait this long, or is this length of time not actually that bad? My only other experience with commissions is two other pieces ordered from the same convetion. One piece took ~3 weeks to complete and the other took ~5 months.
