What are good topics for furry discussions?

This might be an odd post, but I'm on a rant. Maybe I'm just a little older than the Pokemon generation, but I feel anyone between the ages of 15-25 is ONLY drawing anime styles of anthro art. Has anyone forgot western art? Disney, Warner Brothers, Don Bluth, United Animation, Hanna Barbera, Chuck Jones, Tex Avery, Fred Quimby, etc. There's incredible western art that I feel people are missing out on, and the styles I see most from the younger demographic are eastern influenced. Let me say this. Miyazaki (Ghibli) wouldn't exist without Disney....period. I love a lot of great anime series, but I feel there is a lost method of storytelling and art forms people are seriously missing out on. Is this a generational thing?

For the record, my favorite anime series in no order are Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note, and Cowboy Bebop. However, I will stand by western animation ANYDAY when it comes to amazing and emotional storytelling.

I feel like fixing/cleaning up the CSS a bit after work. Any changes/fixes you would like? and does anyone want to make an emoticon(s) or flair(s)? I'm also interested in making alternate themes. Hi I'm new to the furry fandom and need some advise. I am currently looking at getting a fursuit and would like to find a group of fursuiters to hang out with. I was wondering how people found fursuit groups and where I can find one! Also I'm in the austin/college station area. Thanks s ton for the help!

Well I don't think I was the only one who thought Lucario would be replaced, especially with Mega Mewtwo around. But it has been confirmed by the official Smash Brothers website that Lucario will be returning in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS....I still really hope that the title is a work in progress. There are also several really cool pictures of Lucario on his page, I wish I could share them all here but you can check them out on the page

Yes! It is once again time for a discussion thread!

This thread is dedicated to sharing and discussing furry artists and why we line them. The discussion may potentially turn NSFW, so I will probably mark my post if that happens.

Todays questions:

What are your favorite furry artists?

What do you like about them and their style?

If you had the money for it, who would you commission for a drawing?

Personally, I like Neondragon - for teaching me how to draw dragons :3

I also like the style of Necrodrone, Narse and Blotch, (So NSFW that a filtered google search is still NSFW) - they have three very different approaches to drawing and painting in digitak and traditional media.

I soent last month studying some of Blotch's drawings and techniques... so for this next month, I am considering a new subject... but who should I pick?

Aaanyway, I am looking for artists and inspiration to develop my own style. And I figured that other artists might find that useful as well - and people who like furry art could possibly appreciate a discussion.
