With r/furryartschool underway of being fixed up, what suggestions do you all have for its return?
Now, I'm not going to say what exactly is being planned since we're still trying to get ownership over it, but I've had some good chats with remaining mod u/chatgarou and we have good stuff.
But ultimately, if we want it to involve the furry community, it would be best to see what suggestions you have. I can brainstorm all day but without fail it's better if you get lots of people involved.
I cant promise everything would be implemented, otherwise there would be chaos. But please, if you have ideas don't be afraid to share them. This is a sub that was meant to help everyone.

Help! Caught with Fur!
Long story warning, will get into my life for a second to clarify.
So about 5 years ago, I found the furry community. It was an escape for me, as this point in my life was terrible (note, this is the sixth grade, I felt emotionally ruined with different assets of my life reeking havoc against me). I sort of faded out of the community, but the fandom has been there for me when I need an escape.
Recently I kept on coming back to the fandom and decided I'd try to make my own partial suit. I have a 'sona, but I really don't take much involvement in the community. I have the makings at my house, kept in my closet and under my bed. I am a junior in high school now, still living with parents. I've had the fabric for about a half a year now, only revisiting it when I need an escape. I've made a tail, but not much else. A couple of weeks have passed since I've used it, honestly not thinking much about the furry community. My mom decided while I was at school today to clean my room, and while I appreciate her doing that, she decided to clean my closet. She found the box with which the fabric was shipped, the tail, and little bits of fabric. I still have the fabric under my bed. This was never anything I wanted my parents to find, as I myself only take part in the community. I can tell she'll interrogate me about it later, but I currently have a friend over and that's buying me some time. I just need advice on how to handle myself now, what to say, etc. I can post more info later if need be.
TL;DR: I am a pseudo-furry, parents caught me with stuff, I need help in diffusing this situation.
Thank you very much. It's not like I want to leave this great community, but at the same time, I'm not a devote furry myself. At least not to be willing to confess to it to others.

Is there a Becoming A Furry For Dummy's book? How do I get started in the community?
I'm very new to the furry community, and barely know anything. I've only started learning terms, and haven't the slightest clue to where to go to get more integrated into the community. Are there websites that I can go to to educate myself and help me develop my fursona? Any info helps, Thanks

Help with coloring furry fabric?
Hi everyone, I recently received necomimi ears from my reddit secret santa (the ones that move back and forth according to your brainwaves. so happy!) My sona is an ocelot, and they have big white spots on the back of the ears. I would like to replicate this with my ears, but I don't know how to do this while maintaining the softness of the fabric. Should I use some kind of fabric paint? Any suiters know of any good stuff? Help, and thanks in advance!
Here is a link to the ears if it helps

F-List?
Hi, I hope I don't break any written or non written rules with this thread, if yes, I'm sorry.
Anyway, long story short, after years of just admiring furry art, I found out about f-list (and also about this sub) and I think about giving it a try, but I also don't like jumping into unknown waters...
So, few questions!
- Is "Hi there licks ur paw (...) i came >w<" really normal thing?
- How hard is to find playmate, when I have pretty much empty "nope fetish" list but don't have fancy description or premium account?
- Anyone ever found new friend via this site? (No, I personally don't create accounts on websites with fetish in name to find new friends, but...)
- Any tips? (Beside "read f-list wiki how-to etc.", already done.)

Recently Divorced, He's Having Trouble Getting Back in the Game
I am 27 and recently got divorced about 6 months ago in a very terrible way. Well, that isn’t the real predicament. Though after the divorce I was looking at a few non-furry dating sites like match.com, PlentyOfFish, etc. Though I have been a furry since 2009, thus after I got married I let the furry part slip away from me . Thus after the divorce I decided to return to furry section. I haven’t had much luck before I got married to find anyone. (By the way, I am hetrosexual). But yet I am back at square one before I met this person I married, now with a divorce sign hanging above my head. I didn’t have luck on the sites mentioned and was wondering if there is any other dating sites besides Pounced, Furfling, or Furry Mate. And if so is there someone out there for a divorced furry such as myself?
This part above is my question/predicament I would like to give advice to furries as well in this message letter. Before I was told of my divorce, which I didn’t see coming at all, my ex-wife and her family took me to an all-you-can-eat buffet before telling or mentioning about the divorce. No, I am not trying to be papa bear here or some love doctor, but it is better to speak of a divorce or break up sooner than later because the longer you wait the more it will hurt.... Even if you don’t know how the other person reacts or how they feel, it’s better to tell them sooner than later. Because when later comes, that’s when the other person doesn’t want anything to do with you, talk to you, or even be friends with you. This concludes my advice and question, though I don’t know if I should have shared the advice, though.

Dear Skullking,
Sorry to hear about your divorce. Divorces are always painful, even the most amicable of them. I agree with you that if you know you are going to divorce (or otherwise break up with) someone, you should tell them as soon as possible because, as you say, the longer you wait, the harder it will be for the other person, and that’s just cruel. It was also very unclassy for her family to break the news at a buffet restaurant. Such things should be between the two partners and discussed in a private setting. (It’s okay to share advice here :-)
Now, about dating sites. For mundanes, there are some that are designed specifically for divorced people who are seeking love, such as http://www.divorcedpeoplemeet.com/. I think, if I were you, I would start there before looking at furry sites, which are mostly populated by young furs who have never married in the first place. At 27, you are getting close to the “greymuzzle” stage, which is generally considered to be anyone 30 and older, so you might want to go on some of the Facebook furry groups and look for older furs with more experience in the world of marriage and divorce.
Remember, don’t put too much pressure on yourself to find a new partner. Let it happen naturally, and be yourself! :-)
Good luck!
Papabear
Just want to ask something :3
Has anyone else after becoming a furry find that cute things; a cuddly bear toy for instance, has much more of an effect than it would normally. Like there's more of an emotional response?
