Many years ago, a man had come upon the realization. Maybe in a hundred years he and everyone else wouldn't be around anymore. Maybe the planet would become a mess and they'd all be dead, and if other people come from the stars they won't be around to meet them and say 'Hi! How are you? We're people too! You're not alone anymore!' The man took this thought into great consideration, and he took the first step for a better end. A better history and a better world. He built robots, so when the people from beyond the stars come and say, 'Who were these people? What were they like, what did they live for?' The robots can in return say, 'When the creator made us, he called us discovery, curiosity.. They called us explorers, they called us their spirit. They must have thought that was important.'

That man was known as the Father of Androids. He became so very known, his name was branded onto the term 'future'.

Not only did he bring androids into the world, he created classes for each one.

The first class, he had named Supervisors. They were made to keep watch over all attempts to travel to a new planet. However, the public loved them so, that they had managed to weave their way into the government system, taking over as figures of authority.

The second class, were Scouts, or Warriors as the public fondly referred to them as. Their jobs were to be transferred into space alongside a few brave humans and then scout it out to see if not only if there were living creatures on it, but if it was habitable for the population on Earth.

The last class of Androids, were the largest in quantity. They were Companions. They lived in almost every household with humans. They were treated as pets, as children, and as parent figures. However, their positive effect on the public soon ceased to exist.

A virus had been brought into the coding of a single Companion Android, and that single bot had been tampered with by a rival of the Father of Androids. The glitched robot had gone around, spreading the virus and creating a fourth class. Rebels. They went against the programming, they went against the rules of what an Android could or couldn't say, what they couldn't do, what they couldn't feel. They were on a path to become human, to not only feel like flesh, but be it.

Alright, so this is basically the sign-ups for this group in the making. If you were too lazy to read all of those words up above, then you seriously will need to read this.

This roleplay is going to be set in the far future. Androids in the shape of humans(furries), have become such a big part of civilization. Their main purpose is to lead the humans into space, so perhaps later on in this RP, the setting will switch from Earth, to a different planet.

Currently however I need to know how many people will be interested in roleplaying this. You will be allowed to roleplay an Android, and since there are such things as people who have lost limbs and have had them replaced bionically,maybe one or two of you could be bionic/cyborg-ish. Don't count on it though. Make sure to tell me your fursona, what your ref looks like, examples of your roleplay, your roleplay schedules, why you're interested in this roleplay and anything else you feel is needed to be known. Remember, this is simply just a trial of sign-ups, though I will be accepting some, more serious applications are to be announced in the future.

Hi everyone. It’s with a great deal of pride and no small amount of terror that I begin my stint as editor-in-chief of [adjective][species].

In four years, Makyo has grown [a][s] from scratch to the vibrant site we have today. Everything that makes [a][s] special, in part or in whole, is because of a choice she has made somewhere along the way. I don’t have Makyo’s leadership or inspiration, but I will do my best to fill her shoes in my own way.

I started writing for [a][s] in January 2012. Since then I’ve been responsible for about a third of the site’s content. I’ll continue writing, and as editor-in-chief I’ll take responsibility for site content as a whole. Makyo will continue to work in the background as site owner, hosting, programming, and all those other things that keep [a][s] running and Randomwolf fed and watered.

What’s going to change? Not much. [a][s] will continue to explore the furry world from the inside out, in our thoughtful and intelligent way. I plan to increase the amount and accessibility of results from Furry Poll, which in my opinion is the site’s greatest asset. I also want to address the site’s biggest failing, which is that there is often a bit too much JM. [a][s] has always been a collaborative effort and so I will be on the hunt for new regular contributors, guest writers, and editors.

The National Mascot Hall of Fame is coming in 2017.  This mainstream event might deserve attention from furries.
