Pets of Torchlight II Revealed
For those that loved the ability to have pets in Torchlight, you'll be excited to know that all three originals make a return in Torchlight II, along with three new loyal companions. In addition to the cat, wolf, ferret, and Chakawary, there is now a bulldog, panther, and hawk available to choose from. A video showing off the seven pets is available below. This is what Runic Games had to say about the furry friends:
"The life of a dungeon-clearing warrior can be a lonely one. Friends in your party may not be online, or may be questing abroad. To whom can a solitary skeleton-smasher turn for morale support? Fear not! Fluffy companions await you, whose inventories are surpassed only by their loyalty. Oh, and pointy teeth. Or claws."Torchilight II captures all the flavor and excitement of the original game - while expanding the world and adding the features players wanted most, including online and LAN co-op multiplayer. It is being developed by Runic Games and will be released later this year (hopefully!)
April Featured Fursuiter of the Month - J.D. Puppy!
Just finished off my most recent Featured Fursuiter of the Month article for the Furry News Network (FNN), and I was lucky to get J.D. Puppy for this month's feature. He was awesome to interview and one guy I've been wanting to get to know for a long time.
The FNN Featured Fursuiter of the Month is a bi-monthly profile series where every other month I will choose one well-recognized figure in the fandom’s fursuiting community, offering a unique “behind the mask” look at their characters and lives outside of fursuiting, as well as how they found the furry fandom.
Though they are a lot of work (much more so than anything I write for my actual journalism job) I thoroughly enjoy doing these as they allow a unique take on the fandom that people don't often get to see, as well as portraying the positive side of furries. If anyone wants to nominate a fursuiter for a future story, let me know, I'm always open to suggestions.
Here's the story, enjoy!
April FFoTM - J.D. Puppy: Experienced mascot performer, ballroom dancer is also everyone's 'Buddy'
And in case you missed them, here are my previous features. They are now published bi-monthly, so the next one will be released the first weekend of June.
February 2012 - Skroy
December 2011 - Bucktown Tiger
October 2011 - Kiwa Lyon
September 2011 - Nicodemus Rat
August 2011 - Dogbomb
July 2011 - Yippee Coyote

New Survey: Canidae
Hey, all you wolves, dogs, foxes, and other assorted wonderful canids! We’d like to see how the family canidae breaks down in terms of representation within the fandom! Head on over to take the survey, and we’ll bring up a visualization of responses once we get enough. The survey is only a single question, so it should be fairly quick.
Thanks, folks :o)
I was invited to furry connection north
I'm not a furry by any means, but was invited and it sounded like a very unique experience. Do many nonfurries go just for fun? How would attendees react to me taking pictures and maybe some video? I appreciate the feedback, thanks.

FWA 2012 VBlog
My FWA 2012 video finally hits YouTube, there is comedy and dancing so check it out! Comments are welcome, but damn it be nice!
Pay it forward. (Helping somebody who has had a fire in their house)
Hey guys, gals, and everybody in-between! So upon reading my journals on Fur Affinity, I stumbled upon this Post
Now, I don't know the artist (Maim) personally, but I believe in paying it forward, helping those in need. From what I read, he needs donations to get a new tablet (Was damaged during evacuation) and to cover potential moving expenses. I know us furries are the money-challenged folk, but hey. If we can get some help to this artist, no matter how small the donation is, I'd bet it would be appreciated on his part

Angry Birds — The Series
We’ll forgive you if you think this is another April Fool’s gag, but it isn’t: Word is out that Rovio’s world-conquering game Angry Birds is being developed into an animated series. Look for it to hit (ha ha) this fall. Rovio have confirmed that 52 animated shorts are in production, each of them 2 – 3 minutes in length. The shorts will be released on numerous mobile devices and, to quote the company, “on all possible devices” — including smart TV’s. What’s more, there’s an Angry Birds feature film in development for possible release in 2013 or 2014. You can read all about it on the ABC News blog.
