It’s time for the world — or at least Furry Fandom — to re-discover the works of Frank Cho. Or at very least his seminal work in comics, Liberty Meadows. This well-known comic strip started life as an outgrowth of University Squared, a comic strip that Frank worked on during his college days. Liberty Meadows tells the story of a terribly beautiful human named Brandy, who works as a psychiatrist at the Liberty Meadows animal sanctuary. But it also tells the story of Brandy’s decidedly anthropomorphic animal friends: Like Ralph the miniature bear; Dean the lecherous pig; Leslie the hypochondriac frog; and Truman the very, very nice duck. The strip was syndicated for newspapers from 1997 to 2001, when constant censorship by his editors convinced Mr. Cho to switch to a comic book format — which was self-published at first, then later came out of Image Comics. During that time as a newspaper strip however, Liberty Meadows produced several full-color Sunday strips. And now those strips have finally been collected in the Liberty Meadows Sunday Collection, coming this June in hardcover from, yes, Image. I feel that when someone in the fandom produces something great, it is our duty to support it whenever possible. As such, I'd like to present a project over on kickstarter designed to bring Ned Wilkinson's (known as Rhubarb in the fandom) musical Julie Bunny Must Die! to this summer's Megaplex convention, in Orlando. All agreements are more or less in place for the performance; it is simply a matter of paying the actors and production costs.

Everything I've heard from this musical is fantastic, and I'd love for the opportunity to see it this summer. Unfortunately, we seem to have hit a slow period on contributions (almost all of the money raised was raised in the first 5 days). It would be an absolute shame to see this project fall through the cracks. So, if you're planning on attending Megaplex this year, please contribute what you can to this worthy cause - even if that is simply helping to spread the word.

Sooooooooo this guy named CamoHusky made a amazing video of furries and get this it’s not porn, yeh I know rightttt!!! So yeh, it’s the song “A Good Hangover” by Taio Cruz and it’s aamazinngg so click the YouTube thingy and “like it” to give a all paws up. The video was done at this FCN 2012 and I’m sure pretty much depicts what happened over there in the mornings.
