Been lurking this reddit for a few days and been wondering exactly whatnot takes to be a furry, what is a fursona. Is being a furry just a hobby? Or just to roleplay? Or a way of living?

Hey guys! about two weeks ago I was promoting my friends tail store Get Fursonal. Anyways since the post I have been researching the fandom getting to know other furries, and just falling in love with the entire community. anyways I just wanted to say Hi and Introduce my fursona in his current form. For right now I don't have a "ref" but i am working on it. anyway, Here's an exceprt from a story I am writing that describe Azereus Kinwalker.

. He was not an old man, barely out of the prime of his life. He was strong with a broad chest and shoulders, he stood upon two massive hoofs crushed the earth when he walked. He was not large for his kind only standing at eight feet tall, a short tail that did not touch the ground with a small tuft of black hair on the end. His muscular form was covered in an earthy brown fur trimmed around his torso but shaggy around his legs. His arms and legs were wrapped in earthy red tribal markings in his fur. He had a short snout for his kind but it suited him nicely, two black nostrils were set on the front, above a wide mouth containing twenty-six grinding teeth and two sharp canines toward the front that would push up his lip when he closed his mouth, his ears sat behind and below his faded green eyes, his left ear was pierce with 4 silver rings and a bright sapphire, and his left was missing the back tip of it, leaving room for only two silver rings. Behind his head a long black and shaggy mane had grown to the center of his muscular back. His most distinguishing feature was his horns, one horn on each side that came down away from the top of his head and face, the curved forward around his flimsy ears, until they came to a point near his canine teeth.

If anyone knows of any good artists who do reasonably priced commissions let me know. :)

Long time no see, r/furry!

So I've been feeling pretty down about my style lately and someone suggested that I do experimental commissions to get out of my funk. SO I decided to take some commissions that aren't usually like what I draw for others. Above I linked some personal art I've been doing that would kinda be what I'm looking to do for others. If you're interested you can just email me at kaifennec@gmail.com, and I usually answer really quickly.

Prices would be around 20-30$ for the cel shaded type and for the more realistic at the bottom it would really depend on what you want, for example that specific image would be around 50$-ish.

My fursona is a male striped hyena named Adajee. Unlike most fursonas, he looks pretty much like a humanoid version of a striped hyena. (No bright colors on him.) Normally he wears a leather loincloth and a carries a primitive spear made a wood and stone. He also carries a long churchwarden pipe with him wherever he goes.
