Underground Societies - What would a subterranean culture be like? A few weeks ago we pondered an aquatic society, and this week we go underground.

For the last half a year I've been slowly working on a card game that I've always wanted to be available and see people playing and be excited about. I'm at a stage where all the actual design is done, a lot of cards have been balanced but I need some more play testing too.

The problem is... that I have so little motivation right now to work on it because

• I'm just 1 person working on it all by myself

• I have zero art assets at a stage in development where I kinda need them

• I have no connections or popularity status, which makes me feel like when I start a KS campaign to fund printing costs and paying back artists for their work, it won't meet my goals.

• I want to make it Furry-themed, but I also want it to appeal to a general gaming enthusiast audience too. I feel like if I make it Furry, I'll lose the general audience, but if I make it generic it'll just get lost in the noise and no one will care about it at all.

• With over 400+ cards in my database I want to get some quality art... but that means I have to have a nice successful KS campaign to pay for good art with permissions to use it in a product.

... and it's all just so daunting. What if no one wants to do art for it? What is the Crown Funding campaign fails? What if everything else works out and no one buys it or cares?

I put a lot of passion in the things I do, but sometimes reality just smacks me sometimes and makes me lose faith in what I can actually pull off and I just flop like a rug-wuff.

I feel like I should just start powering though again like I was a couple months ago where I got a LOT of work done on it. I almost had a print-your-own demo set ready to go, but... I don't have a close circle of friends or community who could check it out for me that everything works out as intended. I really mean i t when I say I'm completely alone on it. =/

Now, I have always loved the idea of having a fursona. I wanted it to be unique, though. So, I thought, whats my favorite animal? It's a wolf, but theres already thousands of wolf furries. Next, I thought I'de take a quiz. I took several, all of them wolf as the answer, and one answer dog. So, I thought maybe I'de do my zodiac sign animal! Guess what.... it's a wolf, too. I need help picking a species, does anyone know some good tricks to doing it?

OK. Looking at droid-life, they are expecting Google to release Glass to the general public in 2014.

How will this potentially affect fursuiting? Perhaps make it better or make it worse and how?
