The Milking of The Goat

Furry Reddit - Mon 17 Mar 2014 - 15:50

I gently grip your firm, supple, milk filled goat breasts and get my thumbs into the correct position as I start thrusting my hands up and down to get the milk out. You look at me with loving and knowing eyes, and with as much willpower as you can manage while being milk, utter out a weak baaaaaahh. I am thrusting my hands up and down, milk squirting out of your small goat nipples with every thrust. The milk bucket is slowly being filled to the top, a few drops splashing out of the bucket with every stream of milk that lands in the bucket. As I am nearing the end, you gently nudge me, asking for affection and I stroke your goat beard, and with one final thrust of my hands, the last drops of milk come out of your goat breasts, and you know that it is time that I leave. I am just a farmer, and you are just a goat, but inside we are much more than that. Your face droops with sadness as I get up to leave the pen, and I gently rub your head as I stand up. You say one last goodbye "baaaahhh", and with that I leave your pen and lock it up, moving onto the next pen. Until tomorrow you think to yourself.

I'm scared to unveil a creature I created....

Furry Reddit - Mon 17 Mar 2014 - 15:03

It's a creature that's very weird, predatory, and sentient (not sure how sentient yet) and it might have fur or scales I'm not sure yet. Should I? http://imgur.com/VZ7axBm there think whatever.

Difficulties with Dating Someone with Autism

Ask Papabear - Mon 17 Mar 2014 - 13:18
Papabear,

How do I get over a breakup after over a year with the person and getting engaged, when they fancy someone 9 years older (he is 16)?
Basically we met online as most furs do, and hit it off, he lived quite locally to me (within 200 miles) and we met up quite often. Around Christmas it started getting bad; he wanted me to move in with him and it all started getting stressful. He runs at stress, unfortunately, so I was left to try and fix it. He slowly started drifting away.

His birthday came about a month ago and I visited him. It went OK until when I had to go home. Online he couldn't care less if he talked to me, but in person he wouldn't let go of my arm. I went out to get something for his birthday; I was gone 2 hours... He claimed it was 11 hours. When being told it was 2, he said, "Well, it felt like 11."

The fact we had spent a week together, I thought it would be nice to give him some space, that space he claims he needs so much of. However, he felt neglected. After this he went online and started lying about who he was planning to meet up with, and I spoke to a friend of his; unsurprisingly I was blamed for driving my ex's friends away and dumped that very night. I haven't eaten or slept properly since and am rather distressed.

Hi, Vennix,

Thanks for your letter. Quick question, if you don't mind: does your friend suffer from Aspergers or any other form of autism? This will help with my answer.

Papabear

* * *

Yes, both, but not really major.

* * *

His somewhat erratic behavior is likely attributable to his autism, then. First, don't blame yourself for what happened; you can't help his behavior. Second, if he really wishes to move on, you are going to have to learn to accept that. I know it hurts, and because it hurts and you really care about him, you likely will not "get over it." That's often a misused phrase. What you'll learn to do is accept it and move on with your life.

I'll write more later, but I have to travel to see family now, so I hope you understand. Take care.

Papabear

Thank you very much. It is just so hard; all his friends say he was the happiest they had ever seen him when I was with him.

Regards,

Vennix

Hi, Vennix,

While he may have been very happy while the two of you were in a relationship, his deciding to be in that relationship is up to him and not your responsibility. (Remember, people with autism might not react or behave to social situations the way you or I would normally). You offered to be with him and he pushed you away. His happiness, likewise, is not your responsibility.

I found an article that might be useful for both you and your ex to read: http://www.scn.org/autistics/relationships.html. It might help.

Remember, your needs and happiness are important, too. A relationship with someone who is autistic can be very challenging. I suggest reading more about autism and, specifically, Aspergers. Understanding how autistic people feel and behave might help you reconnect to your friend. I suggest you start with the Autism Society page at http://www.autism-society.org/.

Good luck!!!

Are There More Female Artists Than Male Ones?

Furry Reddit - Mon 17 Mar 2014 - 00:59

So, I was looking through the artists that i've subscribed to today, and I noticed something. . . Most of them are female. Wyla, Keldel, CupcakeCreature, Fuckie, Sixthleafclover, and TwilightSaint are all from my watchlist and female. That's six of the twelve that I have.

I only have two artists who are male and evidence it on their profile pages. and that's Scritt and Zorryn.

The last four of my subscriptions, I wasn't able to find them stating or implying their genders. Those are Stafree, Shakumi, Capukat, and Haithe.

Even if all four of the unknown artists were male, then we would still only break even in gender split. And i'm pretty sure that there are more guys in the fandom than girls. This is also a tiny, tiny sample (and not exactly random) of the artist population. So what about your watchlist, how many are guys or girls (If you do this, obtain the information from their userpage, because some people don't want their gender to be common knowledge on the internet.)?

If this is throughout the fandom, then why are there so many more female artists in the fandom than male ones? Do they experience the fandom differently than males? Are girls just more inclined, in general, to be artists than guys? Could some of these artists be transgendered and identify as female? Or is it common practice to go with your fursona's gender if it's not the same as yours, then why wouldn't girls go with male fursonas? Do I just subliminally not like art done by guys as much as girls? Do males typically do more NSFW art (Which I have been avoiding subscribing to) than girls? There are lots of possible explanations, and i'd guess that no single one is correct.

I'm going to do some more searching on furaffinity, looking through the recently posted pictures, see what comes up, because this is interesting to me.

EDIT: After a bit of searching and reading the profiles of another 25 artists from the browse at furaffinity, I got 2 males, 5 females and 18 unknowns.

That's a lot of unknowns. Probably due to the fact that the profiles were much less fleshed out most of the time than those that I subscribe to.

A full list of each is as follows: (Unlinked for speed, it's a pain in the ass to keep track of 25 webpages at the same time)

Male: Strawbunny, TaviMunk

Female: Foxyloxy89, xBamberz, BakedGewds, Kuronekojusan

Unknown: Syntharia_Desire, Clematis-bijou, naira, Isto, Darkmaster03, David_Ellion, DarkWarlock, Sonne, IceySnowPaw, Therabbitd, crazymew, o-tiger, ShifuKira, JackoffRabbit, Khorax, Anthan, Dragoneye11, and DreamingDaemus (Who recently underwent gender reassignment, though I wasn't able to determine his/her gender on the userpage.)

If anyone wants to go digging further, or reread and see if there's anything obvious I missed in the list of Unknowns, that would be useful.
