Hey all, I was wondering if there was a subreddit similar to /r/CharacterDrawing, but more specifically geared towards furries. I was hoping to get a picture done of my 'sona, potentially NSFW, and I wasn't sure if there was a more appropriate place than CD.

Today my Dragon friend convinced me to join the fandom and be a furry. Why? Because: Once upon a time, I fell in love with the pokemon Espurr. I desired to be an espurr. I'm trying to summit a visual, but at first i thought it was the file type (png) so i changed it to a (jpeg) still no avail it says Error 500: Internal server error.

i wasn't sure if this would fit better in r/fursuits or here, sorry if i'm bugging anyone

anyways, i was wondering about people who have rat fursuits, as the title implies. i'm looking into possibly having a suit made of my sona sometime soon, and i've noticed that it doesn't seem like many makers have experience with rats! call me paranoid, but i'm slightly antsy about that. i know there's ratface and this other person whose suits were done by kilcodo, but is there anyone else?

also it's just nice to find other people who like rats so c:

So my character is a lion, and for the past year or so I've been on the verge of actually nutting up and starting the whole fursuit process...and after anthrocon, I'm totally ready for it.

The only problem I'm facing is that I'm not too fond of any lion fursuits out there...that I've seen. So, I'm calling upon all of you to show me your favorite lion suits and finally push me over the edge so I can get my fursuit!

Toony, realistic...doesn't matter!

Hey, everyone! Anyway, does anyone know how to stop procrastination? 'Cause everytime I want to draw my Fursona, I end up getting too lazy and wait until the next day to do it! And it keeps repeating over and over again...

I'm open to ideas, so tell me what you do when you get too lazy!

PITTSBURGH –Anthrocon, the world’s largest convention for artists, animators, costumers, puppeteers and fans fascinated with animal characters, returned to the City of Pittsburgh for its 2014 annual convention from July 3-6 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

This year, the Anthrocon Convention, also known as “The Furries”, drew an estimated 5,600 participants.

On July 5, upwards of 1,100+ attendees in full head-to-foot costumes (“fursuits”) posed for a group photo before participating in a parade inside the convention center.

Fast Facts:

The conference will generate an estimated $7,074,236 in direct spending to Pittsburgh’s economy.

Since its first convention here in 2006, Anthrocon has contributed more than $34 million in direct spending.

Anthrocon has raised more than $100,000 for local charities. This year’s charity is the National Aviary.

Delegates come from all over the world, and range in age from 1 to 85 years old
