The Cóyotl Awards return!
After a much longer than expected (or desired) hiatus, the Cóyotl Awards are back, and we’re hitting the ground running to get caught up. Voting for the 2013 awards and nominations for the 2014 awards are now officially open. Full information here:
http://coyotlawards.org/2014/07/16/were-back/
In the forums, we also have a thread for recommendations for the 2014 awards — something members can use to jog their memories about what was published in 2013 and might deserve to be nominated.
All FWG members (writers and associates) may nominate and vote in the Cóyotls. Remember, though — both the 2013 voting and 2014 nominations end on Friday, August 8, so don’t wait too long to make your choices!
First few felines to comment get free portraits! SFW only please.
I feel like drawing some felines, but am a little low on inspiration these days. So the first few of you to ask me nicely will get a raw scan of a spiffy pencil drawing of a feline of your choice, to do whatever you like with. :3
I'll do these offers for canids, avians, scaleys, bugs, seafolk, and whoever else later on, so don't fret; just wait your turn. ;)

A few question to the fandom about their Fursona
Hello, I simply have a few questions regarding how the fandom feels about their Fursona or how they came to finding their fursona.
1) How did you come to discover what your Fursona is? (Dragon, Folf, Feline with wings, etc...)
A) Did you feel like you already knew what your Fursona was when you were introduced to the fandom?
B) Did you look around and talk to others about it before you discovered what you felt your Fursona was?
2) Do you try to keep your Fursona in a more realistic mindset/world or let it wander to the fantastic?
What I mean is does your Fursona have any special powers/abilities or are things closer to the current modern/realistic world?
3) Do you see your Fursona as yourself or as an ideal version of yourself?
Basically, as your fursona do you act exactly like you normally do or you take on a different personality that you wouldn't normally have?

Closet fur trying to figure out what he is.
I think I'm a feline but I'm not sure. I've taken the "personality" quizes and I've gotten feline, dog, fox (of course), wolf (of course again). Help? Plox?
