So I have been quoted at $2500 for a fursuit but I feel like that is kind of steep. Would it be rude to counter with a cheaper price? like $2300?

I am concerned that it may come off as an insult. It's not like I think their work is not worth $2500, I just think that's expensive considering the simplicity of the design

But to counter that, its not like anything had fixed prices. Their website just has suggested prices, which leads to believe that negotiating a price would be a fair thing to do

what are your thoughts? anyone have a similar experience?

EDIT: A lot of you have brought up the point that art is not really negotiable, and I respect that. I think I'm am going to just play it safe and accept the quote. I love the style of this fursuit maker and I don't want to have a bad relationship with them, especially if I want to commission them again in the future. Thanks for all the replies! I really appreciate it!

The other day I tried asking on /r/skyrimmods for bear, otter, and deer beast race mods. I had no luck. So I figured I would ask around furry places. So if you guys know of any mods along those lines or are willing to make them let me know.

Edit: On a side note, my fursona is free to use for anything but scat, watersports, gore, and vore. Anthro or feral or anything in between is fine. Go nuts.
