Ok, ive been looking at furry comunities for over 2 years now. Today, i finally sucked it up and decided to try to be a part of it. Now, i have some questons...

1. how does this work? Do you act like your fursonas (am i using it right?) or is it just like, something else

2. How do you become a member, do you just jump in? Or is thier some test you have to take or something

3. Do you choose any animal you want, or do you have to match it to your personality

4. what program do you use to make your furry art?

Sorry to jump in your sub and bug you all, but I'm mildy freaking out. My nephew, aka Kieran the Snow Leopard, is at the Chicago con. At least I'm 99% sure he said he was going. I can't get ahold of him at all. Does anyone here know him, have you seen him since the attack, do you know his status? He's tall, sandy brown hair, from Atlanta, no suit yet, but it's getting made (and I'm getting pictures every step of the way).

If, by any chance, you are looking at him, walk over and slap him to text/call his Auntie in Colorado, will you?

I've been browsing this subreddit for a few days and I've decided I want to give the whole furry thing a shot. I feel like I'm kind of in an uncommon position, though. I'm fascinated by the idea of anthropomorphic animals and I really enjoy some of the art made by people in the community. I'm not interested in the porn or roleplaying at this time and I have no artistic ability to speak of, so I'm not really sure where I would fit in to the community. I also don't have a fursona or anything. Any suggestions on where I should start?

Hey guys, I'm a Fox, and I guess I just needed to say this. I'm going to be going to college in a few years, and soon enough Anthrocon. I really want to find a mate, but lately I've been discouraged. I've pretty much ingrained it in my head that I'm not going to find the love of my life I guess. The thing is, I can't just settle for any girl. She NEEDS to be a Christian, and she NEEDS to be overweight/fat, because for some stupid reason I'm not attracted to skinny girls at all. So both of those things severely narrows down my choices in finding the one. The thing is, I'm terrified of dying alone. I want to live the rest of my life with someone who will be there for me, to wake up next to someone special every morning. I don't want to just breeze through my life never knowing what it was like to feel true love. I've never dated or kissed a girl before in my life. So yeah thanks for reading all this crap I guess.
