Does anyone here make ref sheets for around $20-40 and is currently open for commissions? I've looked all over FA but it seems like either Refs are $70 each, or the artist isn't doing commissions. If you or someone you know is please comment or PM me or something, it'd really be appreciated.

Hi there!

First off, totally sorry if I use incorrect terms as I'm not a furry and I don't know much about it. I have a friend who is starting to embrace his furrydom but he still doesn't talk about it much (he very much keeps to himself). It's his birthday and Christmas is coming up and I thought he'd enjoy something furry related. Googling ideas didn't really come up with anything I thought was nice enough (save a cute mousepad), so I thought maybe this community might have ideas. I'm not sure that he's ready to wear a furry shirt in public and I don't want to commission art as that's very personal and we're not that close. I do know he prefers cutesy furry stuff. I don't know his sexual orientation, so nothing that displays furries holding hands or more. He'll tell me that when he's ready.

I appreciate any ideas you have.

I'm thinking of doing a demographic survey type thing asking people about their fursonas as well as their demographic information, just to see if there are any interesting correlations. Anyway, I'd probably have a multiple choice question asking people what species their fursona is with the most common species as options (as well as an 'other' box where they can write their answer in if it isn't on the list) and I was wondering what the most common species are.

Probably something like

• Wolf

• Fox

• Domestic dog

• Domestic cat

• Big cat

• Dragon

• Raccoon

• Otter

• Horse (?)

• Hyena (?)

• Rat (?)

And while I'm at it, give me your suggestions for questions for a survey! I'll probably try to keep it short, but I'm thinking something like

• Gender

• Sexual orientation

• Age

• Fursona species

• Does your fursona have a natural or unnatural color pallet?

• Are you an artist?

• Have you commissioned art of or drawn you fursona?

But I'm probably missing some obvious good questions to ask

Old Nintendo consoles and handhelds have always been my go-to gaming sources. Not because I want to, but because they're usually all I can afford. I've always recognized PC as the superior platform, but I haven't been able to afford one. There's no real jobs that I can get where I live at age 15, except for one thing; commissions! I've finally taken it upon myself to try and save up for a $450 budget medium-end PC! So, what this boils down to is, I'm taking commissions that center around $30 for a full, inked, shaded piece! Or, if that's too much for you, $15 for a colored, cleaned-up sketch. The commissions would consist of your character of choice, in your pose of choice, with a semi-detailed background of your choice, basically everything is up to you! Nothing NSFW, sadly. If this goes through, I'd be charting and listing all payments that I've received, whether or not I've finished that commission, and updates in this post every time I meet the money for a specific PC part. I'll also update with a picture for every part I manage to buy, with a time-stamp and everything. If this is against the rules, notify me and I'll move to another subreddit. Thanks!
