am I weird?
"Sorry for big block of text" I got a fox tail for myself a while ago and just decided to wear it around my home. Now it is as if my brain has rewired itself so that the thought of taking off the tail either does not exist or is the last item on the list. When I leave to go out in public, I take off the tail but other than that, it never comes off. This is not the only change that I have noticed. I also find that some of the social anxiety I have more or less disappeared and I am more sociable because of that. I also want to know is it possible that becoming or at least accepting that you are a furry could be a positive change and not a negative change as it is thought to be?

What furry means to you
To me it is an awesome accepting and creative community that lets you be whoever you want to be. How about you? What does furry mean to each of you?

You guys I did a quick sketch of a clouded leopard... and may have inadvertently created my fursona.
Am i the only one...?
that sometimes gets this weird felling like you have a tail but then you look back/touch your bottom to see/fell nothing and just get this overall confusion? (just as a disclaimer i am not a other-kin of any sort, i just have an overactive imagination XD)

I want to see what furry comics does the community prefer. My personal ones are TwoKinds and Housepets!

"NOPE NOPE, NOT GETTING ROASTED TODAY"
Theta, by Sasya Fox – book review by Fred Patten.

About Tracks. I'm sorry.
I got ill at the start of writing chapter 9, lost my drive, and have never regained it. I'm sorry to all those who were hopeful of me completing a nice project with their characters, and as such I am going to open up the project. Anyone can use the material.
Again, I'm sorry.

Do we have a race? & Other questions (Partly NSFW)
So I was listening to a podcast who partly covered the MFF gassing that was unfortunate. But after a bit they, through their curiosity, brought up a few kind Indirect questions (Link will be in the footnotes) that I couldn't answer myself as I've only been a fur for a year+. One of them being: Do we as Furies have a race (Guessing in fursona forms)? Of course we have our fursonas which are like avatars & Other kins, then we have descriptive labels like fox, wolf and dragon etc.
Another was: How many are there of us globally? I know there are figures out there but all of them seem out of date. Then another, which I'll provide a time stamp for and for the rest. Mainly to put some context behind this.
This kinda got the ball rolling in my head, like we are fans of anthropomorphic animal characters yet we create these collectively which kind of puts us in a paradox of creator and fan, which ones are we? Or are we just divided?.
Then there's the part of if we are a fandom of anthropomorphic animal characters, shouldn't there be fan fiction / stories (Note: I haven't found any at the time of writing this)?
Of course there's the other side of the coin to the fandom, but mostly everything about our fandom is ether social or in an image form. Nothing written.
I have many more questions but it's getting late, so I'll conclude.
Answers to these could be easy, but I couldn't find any, any help or opinions would be great.
Footnotes: Podcast that the questions were mentioned in:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlAcCs6I7_I
*Full segment (NSFW: Language & Mention of sexual topics) for context 6:30 - 18:20 *A question for Fursuiters (Clean) 14:30 - 14:40 *The race question (NSFW: Language) 16:04 - 16:20
=To the mods, if the links a ruled to be against the rules of the subreddit, I'll be more than happy to remove them. For now they serve as context & academic uses. (This is like my 3rd-ish post, so I'm adding this to be safe)
