Anyone feel like chatting?

Furry Reddit - Thu 26 Feb 2015 - 07:08

Semi bored hyena here. Doing some mindless grinding on Marvel Heroes and wouldn't find some furry friends to chat with. :3

Does anthropomorphic Pokemon art count as furry art?

Furry Reddit - Thu 26 Feb 2015 - 07:07

Ever since I've been little (Age 8) I've never, ever been able to draw Pokemon 'normally.' I'd always draw them on two legs. (Unless it was a Magikarp or something....) After I found out that Furries where a thing, I instantly realized I was one (Not saying every person that draws Pokemon is a Furry) and made them look more 'anthro.' So.....if I want it to be, can I identify it as furry art? Or should I just call it normal Pokemon art?

How do you guys make those awesome customs flairs?

Furry Reddit - Thu 26 Feb 2015 - 04:51

I've been wanting to make my own (The basic ones are cute, but just not enough) and would love to make some! Might even be able to make some for those with nothing close (mice, horses, misc. reptiles, etc.) but I've yet to see someone say how, if normal members even can.

[Possible NSFW] I have a kind of personal question for you furry redditors out there.

Furry Reddit - Thu 26 Feb 2015 - 04:13

So, I dunno, about seven years ago I discovered the furry fandom and roughly a year after that considered myself a fur--though to be honest, I don't think I really was a fur until recently. You see, my only contact of the fandom was through erotica, so I was honestly just as bad as some of the people who think that's all the furry fandom is about. Recently (within the last three years), I came to the profound realization that that isn't even close to the point of the fandom. It's just a part of it that exists.

So, my question to you is this actually twofold:

  1. We're any of you in the same boat as me? Limited by your own misconceptions?

  2. How did you pick your fursona? I'm have difficulties with developing mine and thought you'd be the best people to ask!

Survey Results!

Furry Reddit - Wed 25 Feb 2015 - 23:34

Being curious as i am, i was wondering what the public's (specifically /r/samplesize due to limitations) current opinion on furry s Fandom is. Well here are the results! Although not nearly as useful as the kinda data that the IARP gathers it is still nevertheless interesting.(Obvious disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with the IARP) Here are two basic charts i made: http://imgur.com/a/RoEDs (This was basically the first time I've ever created a survey) Now the interesting part was in peoples responses and comments. Since i can't find a good way to share these with all of you I'll simply share the raw data. Raw data: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YwBQ-AI_JPxL1FRxCSvj7FGT2xr9ixN52oEa6UOTOmc/edit?usp=sharing Thanks for reading!

Finally decided to post.

Furry Reddit - Wed 25 Feb 2015 - 23:22

Hey guys, furrst time posting. Over the past few years I've found my self really drawn to falcons and harpy eagles. To the point where I want to be one. I'd give anything to be able to grip a salmon in my talons. I'm not sure if you would call me a furry, because eagles and falcons have feathers. Am I in the right place?
