Good morrow, dear auditory audience members. Prepare your spherical receptacles located in your ears for this issue of the Furballd online radio show. You may be wondering why I’m typing like this. Yup. This week, the crew is joined by none other than super cray owner of Jaffa Books and author, Jay Stoat, to discuss our various creative writing projects and methods. And surprise, not much of it is about writing porn! Well, Killick and Ringo might, but that’s a new record low by our standards.
If you’d like to send messages or questions to us or even some to pass along to Jay, just send them to furballdletters@gmail.com.
Bye for now, but not forever!
This week’s song is “Kirb Your Enthusiasm” by Brandon Strader and halc. You can find the song on OCRemix here: http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR03085

Toonbox Entertainment (the folks who last year brought us The Nut Job) are starting to look as if they have a particular interest in furry characters. They’re hard at work on The Nut Job 2, but in the interim comes the announcement of Spark, a space adventure film currently in production and scheduled for release in 2016. Here’s what we got from ComingSoon.net: “Spark follows a teenage monkey Spark, voiced by Jace Norman (Nickelodeon’s Henry Danger), and his friends Vix, a battle-ready fox voiced by Jessica Biel, and Chunk, a tech-savvy warthog, as they embark on a mission to take back the besieged planet Bana from the power-mad General Zhong. Spark’s dangerous odyssey leads him to the farthest reaches of the universe, and to the secret of his true identity, with characters like the comically forgetful nanny robot Bananny, voiced by Susan Sarandon, and the noble, self-sacrificing Queen, voiced by Hilary Swank by his side.” Spark is being directed by Aaron Woodley. The film already has an official web site and also its own Facebook page.
Here is a Furaffinity page dedicated to personal fursuit reviews. This page has many well known fursuit creator reviews, as well as not so popular fursuiter reviews. Come check it out and read the stories from the suiters behind the creators!
Sometimes, it feels like I'm the only one with supportive parents.
I always feel awkward when hearing horror stories about parents, because I have the exact opposite. For example, when my mom saw me wearing my fox ears out, she informed me that people will see me as a furry, which I was and still am, and I told her that I am one, and she didn't freak out, she was supportive, even helping me make new ears and a tail to match my 'sona. So, when I hear those horror stories, I never know what to say.
tl;dr: Supportive parents make supporting others hard for me.

I got this commission from /u/pocketstash awhile back of my Avali OC Rhaun, figured I'd finally do something with it and share it with you good folks
Furs in Stevens Point, WI
Sunday was probably one of the best days of my life. See, I live in central Wisconsin, and I'm not social with any of the people here. So, I don't know any fellow foofs around here, and I wouldn't dare tell anyone but my closest friends about this culture that I love. Anyways, I was at a gaming cafe when a guy walked in, pulled the clerk to the side and asked a question. I saw him nod; the man rushed out the door, and came back in followed by 3 fursuiters. It was THEN that I realized what was going on! I lost all composure and couldn't stop smiling from ear to ear. I was just, blind sided! So me, my boyfriend and our best friend took pictures, hugs were exchanged, and they showed the shopkeep's daughter their paws (and the owners didn't mind it at all). I just wanted to share this with ya'll, especially since this experience has reminded me of my interests (lately I've been feeling dead inside).
Also, I want to thank the said fursuiters for the amazing experience, should they happen to see this :)
Oh, and here's one of the pics that were taken: http://imgur.com/5UDfXce

New Howard the Duck comic book series to launch Wednesday
So my sister now knows
So today my brother, who has known about my Furryness for quite a while, recently told my sister. Cue awkward explanation of said Furryness. She understands it and all, but I was wondering if any of you floofs had any cute/neat/funny videos of fursuiters/conventions etc I could show her. Thanks guys, I love you all!

Wolf reference sheets
So I'm wanting to make a 3D model of my fursona since I can't draw anything more than a stick figure. That being said I need some reference sheets. I've been looking everywhere online and I can't find anything good that fits my fursonas description (cartoony and muscular) or anything that's in the write views to work with the program I'm using. So does anyone know of any with a side and front view that fits this basic description?
