Can someone ELI5 to me what this sub is?
Stumbled onto this sub two days ago, but I can't exactly figure out what it is. I'm not here for attacking or anything, just answers. From what I've got out of the past two days, this is some giant roleplay thing? What started this? Sorry if this is against some unspoken rule, I've read the rule in the sidebar and found nothing this is against, so I should be safe. If someone could answer this for me, that'd be really helpful.
Thanks.

Timeless Tales from an Elderly Rodent
Grandpa Grey is a squirrel who specializes in spinning new fairy tales and fables. He’s the creation of author John William Wisor and illustrator Nila Brereton Hagood, and he’s also the thread weaving together their first book, Grandpa Grey’s Timeless Tales and Fabulous Fables. Among this first collection are stories about dragons, fairies, mermaids, and how God came to create pets. The Grandpa Grey web site has information about the book, illustrations from it, and a preview video for it. Grandpa Grey is represented by a custom-designed plushy toy, which is unfortunately not for sale. But the plushy toy of his eager young story listener, Baby Grey, is for sale.
What if furries are not Animals with Human characteristics, but Humans with Animal characteristics?

Here are the things I made on todays stream!
Newly formed furry
It basically started with me asking a friend to make me a furry Cat tail. We talked a bit and here I am c: I enjoyed the whole concept of animals with human characteristics since I was 15, I'm 21 now. But I never embraced it until today. I was always afraid of not being accepted into any kind of fandom...furry friends seem sweet and considerate though :) maybe I finally found somewhere I fit in <3

I'm trying to work with traditional more!
/r/furry: Meet Crendert [Full Suit]
A couple of weeks back, I asked about playing a growly character at Furry cons. I got lead to a good video on it, and decided I would act as he would normally act, even at Furry cons.
That being said, today I suited him for the first time, and modeled him for a bunch of photos. He turned out absolutely fucking amazing (In my opinion) and the suit is so comfortable and breathable it really is a tremendous achievement. With this said, I give to you Crendert
Now, just to show you the amount of padding, and work that went into that padding: I am 6'1, 130 pounds. I have a waist size of 30, and biceps that are 9". I am somewhere in that suit.
