Hello and welcome to /r/furry Anthrocon 2015! This is for those who are too far away and/or too poor to attend the real one! Woooooooo! We guarantee that this one is way better than the stupid "real" one!
What an exciting convention we have planned for today! Here's what you can expect from today's events:
A live singing performance from our very own /u/Anthoren!
A fascinating Q&A from /u/Sorrowinsanity about what life is like in his dimension!
A thrilling lecture by /u/furrythrowawayaccoun on the art of constructing wooden furniture!
A cheap fursuit parade in which participants use Crayola™ crayons to colour themselves like their fursonas! (Sponsored by Crayola Company LLC)
A dance thingy! Although due to a shortage of funds, we can't afford the equipment for music so instead /u/Verok_the_Dragon will stand and say "doo doo dee dum dum hm hm la la laaa la la" really loudly and hope that it forms some kind of catchy rhythm!
Aaaand finally, this one's for the ladies out there! /u/Infamous0823 will be the star of a sensual pole-dancing event. Women only!

Hey furs, I've been having a great couple days. But I want to hear some good things about yours.
Even if you haven't been having a good couple days I want to hear the best thing that has happened and remind you your day is what you make it and you always have the ability to make it good!

At AC 2015, Saturday, my second con... I had just about the best night of my life. I got too drunk, but people talked to my ass. Fantastic furries and locals alike. Thank you much and much love to all.
I helped resolve a car accident this year, carried someone I hardly knew back to their room safely... and for the most part let my anxiety get the better of me.
But... for me, even better things happened. I finally crawled out of my shell. Thursday... I awkwardly watched the dance . Friday I stood, but did nothing more. Saturday, I spent four hours drinking and preparing and... even if for only 20 minutes, I danced. In those 4-5 hours, I met furs and non furs alike who made me feel alive. I talked to people that I would have been especially afraid to. I had a blast, and more than ever before, I felt like I belonged somewhere.
So thank you, everyone. I love you all and I hope I see you tomorrow and we can all enjoy our last day.
I am trying to sober up (no nausea or vomiting ) rather successfully and then gonna pass out. I love you all. Thanks.

Hundreds Flock To Furry Parade Downtown

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Hundreds of people lined the Convention Center Saturday to take in the first-ever public furry parade.
Hundreds of furries walked in the parade as well. This year was the first time they paraded outside for the public. In previous years the furries marched through the convention center.
Furry fans and curious spectators stood cheering on various foxes, cats, superheroes and other creatures, some holding yellow “I (heart) Anthrocon” signs.
“It’s fun, just people having fun,” said Tim Fako of Scott Township. “It’s a different thing, never participated in anything like this before, I’m glad they’re sharing their parade with us.”
Anthrocon has taken place in Pittsburgh annually since 2005.
In addition to bringing a number of costume-clad individuals to the city, the convention has raised tens of thousands of dollars for Pittsburgh organizations.
According to the Anthrocon website, last year the convention raised more than $30,000 for the National Aviary.
They also bring millions of dollars to the city. Officials with VisitPittsburgh estimated this year’s four-day convention would bring in more than $5 million.
