Hello guys! So we just had our first furry convention in Taiwan like three weeks ago(27.06)

it was actually not a furry con but a "furry and non-human con", however it seems to be the same to me anyway. Making videos of furry conventions was kind of my dream, and i was so excited to hear that furry con would be held in Taiwan.

So HERE is the link of the video! Noticing that there are some interviews of my language in this video, I tried my best to translate and made English subtitles for you guys!

Recently discovered at San Diego Comic Con: Awake, a new full-color science fiction/fantasy comic series written by Susan Beneville, with art by Brian Hess. “Twelve year-old Regn has the power to wake and heal planets.  But, on her first mission, she lands on Gremon where she discovers an angry planet tearing itself apart, an irresponsible big brother, and a greedy baron who stokes the chaos for his own benefit.  Her power may not be enough when she comes face-to-face with the planet’s consciousness.” That description doesn’t mention that young Regn is helped on her quest by a large talking dog-like “tor” named Operi, as well as a local fox. Awake #1 is due this September from Action Lab.

So apparently caninehybrid works at my local joanns, the one I always wander into for stuff. Was just asking the nearest staff where the buckram was...wouldn't you know it was someone who was very familiar with buckram eyes.

Got lots of advice and stuff since I'm just getting ready to finish up my suit, and I'm just kinda floored right now. I'd been a fan of CH's stuff ever since I half met her on a dumb Pokemon fan site long ago.

Howdy all,

Here is a new set of proposed rules for the sub. The single line numbers will go in the sidebar sans sub-bullets, with this complete list of numbered rules/sub-bullets going in the wiki with a link. Benefits include slightly clearer guidelines and clearer consequences for rule breaking.

Feedback is welcome (especially spelling/grammar corrections, lol) but this list is ideally what the mods think we can implement and reliably enforce on the sub.

1. NSFW tag required under any of the following conditions:

   • Visible genitals and visible nipples (m/f) (including visible through underwear/clothing)
   • Sexual behavior (such as highly suggestive posing)
   • Suggestive clothing (such as fetish gear or lingerie/underwear)
   • Violence featuring more than incidental blood/gore
   • Hardcore drug use(illegal drug paraphernalia, binge drinking, lots of pills, etc).
   • Disney/Barbie-like nudity does not need to be marked NSFW so long as it does not violate any other NSFW tag rules.
     • Breaking this rule will result in a warning. Breaking repeatedly after the warning will result in a temporary ban, and then if broken again, a permanent ban.

2. Pornography (the engagement of sexual behavior) belongs in /r/yiff, not in /r/furry.

   • This includes penetrative sex, implied penetrative sex, masturbation, genital groping, and any picture depicting bodily fluids which is sexual in nature.
   • Breaking this rule will result in a warning on the first offense. Subsequent offenses will incur a temporary ban, and then a permanent ban if broken again after that.

3. Fetish art or fursuit photos which pass the pornography rule are allowable. The images may be posted without the NSFW tag, unless they meet the requirements of rule #1. Fetish art must be tagged with [Fetish Name Here] in the title. Hardcore fetish art, including vore, scat, cub art, and snuff is not allowed.

   • Breaking this rule will result in a warning and if continually broken after the warning, a temporary ban. Subsequent offenses are a permanent ban.

4. Your own art is more than welcome! The only thing that's unwelcome is spam.

   • You will get a warning if you are at risk of breaking reddit's rules on spam. Spambots will be banned on sight.

5. If it is not your own art, please add "by (artist name here)" in the title and link to their art site in the comments.

   • Breaking this rule will result in a warning.

6. No personal attacks. This means no aggressive name calling, no following users from post to post, no harassment.

   • Consequences depend on the severity of the infraction. Encouraging people to harm themselves or others or excessively cruel conduct will result in an immediate, permanent ban. Minor offenses or heated arguments will get only a warning.

7. Keep posts on topic, related to furries or to the /r/furry community and its members.

   • Off topic posts will be removed with a warning. Constantly posting off topic after the first warning will result in a temporary ban.

8. Do not claim or sell as your own creation any commissioned work, artwork, or products that are not your own original work or which includes work you do not have permission to use/sell.

   • Exception: Anything which falls under "fair use" under US copyright law.
   • Breaking this rule will result in a warning on the first offense and a permanent ban on subsequent offenses.

9. Excessive gore, including pictures of real dead or mutilated animals is expressly forbidden.

   • Posting pictures of actual dead animals is an immediate permanent ban.

Edit: Clarified consequence escalation for most of the rules, fetish art rule, and rule #1.

I just can't seem to stick with one fursona. Any time I make one I think I'll stay with, I think up another. Anybody know how to stop this crazy cycle?
