So, hello y'all!
Name's Jakkor, but just call me Jakk. I thought that I'd break lurker status for a bit and try to get a bit more involved, so hi!
Although honestly, I'm trying to improve my... communication skills. See, I'm the type who would just awkwardly fidget in place if I tried talking to strangers, so I thought what better idea than to throw myself in front of a huge crowd?
...yeah, maybe not the best idea, but I wanted to make an effort at least. So, just chat, ask stuff, or say hi or something! I'll try my best to reply to y'all.
P.S. It might be a while for replies, as of time of posting it's 40 minutes to midnight and I've school to attend.

Strange story I have to tell.
So, I think early this year (or late last year) I went to Tasmania with my family. When we were in Hobart or another close city/town, and we came across this store which had cardboard models/3d puzzles. They had an arrangement of things, from western dragons to tractors to foxes to eastern dragons. So I buy a model of an eastern dragon and a 3d puzzle of one (one for me, the other for a friend), and we get to the checkout and the lady operating da service noticed I got 2 versions of the same thing. She says something I didn't quite notice until recently, she said:
"Do we have a bit of a dragon fetish here?"
She said it in a cutesy way, probably thinking I was like 6 or 7 because of my height. It was kinda weird, and I only just remembered this, so.... Yeah. It was a story.
Ps this was before I knew about scalies.

IT SMELLS LIKE A FRIGHTENED RABBIT
Con horror stories?
Anyone have any funny/cringe/awkward/hilarious-because-it's-not-me stories from conventions they've attended?
EDIT: Please try to keep these somewhat humorous or at least not grim.

My Dad is a Dog and a Snake is my Friend
The new black & white graphic novel Family Pets (published by Zenescope Entertainment) was recently reviewed at the University of Washington’s daily newspaper web site, of all places. “After her parents’ death, 16-year-old Thomasina has been wishing for something exciting to happen in her ordinary, lonely life. One morning, she wakes up to find her foster family has turned into pet animals, and her pet snake Sebastian has transformed into a man. With the help of her wizard friend Smitty, Thomasina and Sebastian embark on a magical journey to the wizard world to find a way to reverse the spell placed on the family.” Family Pets was written by Pat Shand, with illustration by Sarah Dill.
