So I've got a long weekend of digital art ahead of me before I go back to prison college. I really want to pour my soul into a few good art pieces before then. This is my last chance for projects for a while because I'm anticipating a really heavy workload this semester! So that means I will be closing the slots by Saturday, but you will get your art sometime next week.

I discovered this adorable comic just yesterday and have since devoured all of it overnight, but it seems to stop in an odd place with a guest comic posted in 09/26/2010. Does anybody know the reason behind this? Does the artist ever plan to continue it in the future?

I get that people want to be their sonas but the amount of cons in my opinion seem to largely outweigh the pros. Take http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7004462/ for example: It looks like nightmare fuel.

Side note: I have no experience fursuiting so maybe I am talking bollocks, but whatever.

If you haven’t been reading the newly-reinvigorated Howard the Duck comic book series from Marvel Comics… well, why haven’t you?? Taking flight from his post-credits cameo in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie (and seemingly having gotten over that whole George Lucas… thing…) Howard has been basking in the attention brought to him by this new full-color comic written by Chip Zdarsky and illustrated by Joe Quinones. In case you need to do some catching up, this October Marvel is releasing issues # 1 through #5 of the new Howard series collected together in a single trade paperback, Howard the Duck Volume 0: What The Duck. BleedingCool.com has an extensive background piece on Howard in general and the new series in particular.
