Well, I really didn't intend to tell her, we were having a conversation and the subject of "things you could never tell anyone else" came up and she told me hers so she was egging me to tell her mine. I knew how she felt about furries, she mentioned before how she think's they're so weird etc etc.

Now here's our dialogue:

Her: Dude just tell me! I already told you mine!

Me: I don't know... I don't want you to judge me or for me to ruin our friendship

Her: Dude, you could seriously tell me anything and I would still be friends with you

Me: Ok then... I'm a furry.

Her: ... Dude, seriously I don't think any different of you. You're still an amazing fucking person (her quote not mine :P) and something like that would never change my perception of you.

Me: ... So you don't think I'm disgusting?

Her: No! Please teach me about the community, I'm curious!

queue 15 minute explanation of the furry community

She then asks if I have a fursona and I show her him and explain the process of creating one, after that she then offers to write him a back story for me and she even offers to go to a furcon with me if I need a buddy. I then ask her "Are you sure this doesn't make you weirded out / uncomfortable, like at all?" and she says "You're my friend, this is what you enjoy and that's enough to make me happy." She then asked to see some (SFW) art and she was pretty impressed with it.

Literally never in a million years have I ever thought I would actually tell a friend that I'm a furry and have them be wildly supportive of it, feels good man.

She walked in while I was drawing up my ref sheet and is now worried that I chose a boar as a fursona out of low self-image. The reality is that I just find them really cute. Had to spend the next 10 minutes explaining this to her and reminding her it's just pretend. So yeah. My mom apparently takes my fursona a lot more seriously than I do.

It's every single day of my life. I can do everything right, but there's always something I end up screwing up or forgetting. I've been working so hard just to support myself, but my grades have been falling because of it. Not to mention it takes away time I need to study for the LSAT.

I put so much effort into everything, but it doesn't matter in the least. It doesn't matter how hard I study, how much I endure, or how much I want it to happen. I fail. It's just crushing me to spend almost all of my time working hard only to have all of it mean nothing.

Just a stupid rant from a stupid college kid from a poor, stupid town. I'm just beat down and needed somewhere to vent.

Hello /r/furry, sorry for the recent number of posts regarding /r/pawcraft, but we are glad to finally announce the relaunch of the PawCraft server!

I would like to thank all the staff team who worked hard to bring the server back up, and our new sponsors, BoltWolf Networks!

For those who don't know what PawCraft is, PawCraft is a furry minecraft server that uses a whitelist. It uses the Project Pawcraft modpack that adds tails and more.

So my local mall was having a Halloween trick or treat thing and my niece was going to it so it was the perfect opportunity to wear my fursuit. I made this fursuit back in August and I'm just now wearing it. As soon as I walked into the mall I could hear some kids say "Look at the big fox!" As soon as I heard that I knew I was going to have a great time. I waved at kids and they would wave back and giving them high fives. The best part was seeing the huge smile on their face which was probably the best feeling I had in a very long time, I was grinning from ear-to-ear the whole time. Now I see why people love wearing fursuits so much. Thankfully I get to go for Round 2 tomorrow on the real Halloween. Hopefully the same result will happen!
