Hello furfriends! I am looking into making a lizard/dragon tail for an upcoming con, and I am particularly interested in using a scored pool noodle to make it move nicely. I'm def not a huge fan of stuffed tails, I have always made yarn ones in the past but that's not really an option for a reptile!

My biggest problem right now is I am having a hard time finding finished refs and examples. I see lots of tutorials and pictures of making the core, but not a lot of finished products and I am worried it's because they don't turn out well. Any insight? Thanks!

Does your 'Sona have a motto or rule they live by?

I just want to take a moment to harp on one of my pet peeves as a sad old greymuzzle, which is the number of younger furs who I meet at cons who take awful care of their bodies and are weirdly proud of it. I meet a lot of people who are like "I'm living on whiskey and Slim Jims and I haven't bathed or slept in four days, party all the time aroooo!" This makes me sad. If you do these things you are hurting yourself and handicapping your ability to function. This can have negative affects on your ability to make art, to maintain your relationships with others, and to do the things you have to do. So with that said, I have some convention tips to share with you:

• Bring a water bottle and make sure to hydrate regularly.
• You need 6 hours of sleep.
• Shower once a day, and change clothes when you do.
• Eat three times a day. You can save a lot of money and make better plans if, before you leave, you load up a box or a shopping bag with rice cups, fruit cups, granola or powerbars, and snacks like trail mix, nuts, or dried cereal.
