Month 6! Wow... It's already half a year. Y'know.. I never expected to do this for 6 months. I would like to thank /u/copperbadger for allowing me to do this for half a year.

When I saw the link to other subreddits I knew something better could be done, the drop menu was just... eh.. And I decided to make the first post.

The response from the whole subreddit was amazing and the wiki ended up being what it is today. It hopefully helped a lot of people. I added about ~50 subreddits so far and will probably do more.

I would also like to thank mods of /r/furry for sticky-ing these threads and the mods of smaller subreddits which were very responsive and helpful with my PM's and inqueries

Now, I wish to adress a problem. Adding subreddits. I saw countless times when comeone commented „they should add this to the sibreddit list“, but not me nor the mods were even notified. In every one of my threads, you can see the link andhow to add a subreddit, There's even HTDI on the wiki page itself and I don't know why nobody ever contacts me about them (in 6 months I recieved 1 PM) and then complain about not having them on the wiki. Just PM the mods or me, that's all I want.

I would also like to make a public apology to the entire subreddit and the mods for not updating the wiki last month.

So yea, I'm not going to make an excuse. I didn't feel like doing it, nobody noticed it.

I also decided to do something for smaller SFW (and NSFW ) subreddits and that is to link to the freshes discussion threads on those subreddits, so check them out ;)

Hey guys, I wanted to make a thread dedicated to helping other furries who may be experiencing problems and are looking for somebody to talk to.

Essentially, I have seen users state that it is sometimes difficult to express their sorrows or misfortunes on this sub because they do not want to feel burdensome or unwelcome in what is normally a very happy-go-lucky environment. And so, this thread is to encourage furs to open up with their issues and to seek help from others. If this works out, I plan to make this a weekly occurrence.

If grief has been on your mind or something has been bothering you as of late, big or small, please leave a comment for myself and others to see if we can be of any help, or at least lend a sympathetic ear. Alternatively, if you feel pretty nice about yourself today, don't be afraid to browse any existing comments and see if you can make somebody's day a little better. Maybe you have experience with what that person might be dealing with. Or perhaps you just want to let them know that they have a person to talk to.

However, there are a few principles that I feel should be stated:

• I am aware that unfortunately, misfortune does not have a curfew. This thread is not in any way meant to contain negative emotion on the sub, but is meant to be a convenient place for others to open up and find somebody to talk to. If you experience strife at any other time during the week, do not feel like you must wait until Saturday to state it. Please feel free to make your own post.

• This thread is not meant to replace professional help. If you feel that you could have depression or any other similar psychological condition, you are still invited to post, but it is highly recommended that you seek a form of professional help as well.

• Suffering is not a competition. Do not feel like your issues are too slight, or insignificant to post. You are invited to express your problems no matter their scale. Your sadness is just as valid as any others.

• Last but certainly not least, if you are responding to a comment do your best to be as thorough and insightful as possible. Do not just comment and forget about the other person afterward. While little pick-me-ups can help, I want to emphasis quality over quantity. Do your best to be there for the other person. Encourage discussion and do not be afraid to have more in depth conversations. The comment section is always fine, but if either of you feel that you must talk in a more private setting, do not be afraid to use PM or Skype.

I'm not a furry, so i'd like to know: Does you, furries' fetishes derivate from bestiality? Do you like wearing fursuits because it feels more natural to feel sexual attraction to animals while you pretend you are one yourself?

And if you don't sexualize it, I would also like to know: Then, what appealed you to be a furry? What made you want to wear fursuits actively?

I'm very sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm new to the fandom kind of and I just wanted to know.

I've had an interest in anthros for years but tried distancing myself because of the "rep" that seems to go along with them, but after fursuiting with a friend on a bet it kind of opened Pandora's Box for me. I honestly had a ton of fun and felt almost freer, which may or may not be pathetic on my part.

So, how did you get going?
