"Gertrude Maxwell, the philanthropic founder of Save-A-Pet Inc., died on Tuesday night. She was 99. Mrs. Maxwell passed away at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach. She began her crusade at the age of 61 after attending a Chicago-area Humane Society meeting where she was shocked to learn that an estimated 90,000 homeless pets were euthanized across the country every month. More specifically Central Michigan University? It'd be cool to meet up or something. I've been looking all over to find a meet, but they're all 60 mins + away. Since this is a university campus, there simply must be some furries around! I can't be the only one!

They are a local cartoon art museum whose goal is to promote a deeper appreciation of cartoonists and their work through hands-on workshops, community outreach, cartoon-oriented educational programming, and exhibitions of original cartoon art.
