I Blame Hannah Barbera
Growing up in the 70′s, there were lots of interesting things on television. One program I remember above all others was the Banana Splits show. This was designed by Sid & Marty Kroft and was produced and distributed by Hannah Barbera.
This is the reason I fell in love with the with Fursuits. I wanted to have as much fun as these guys did!
Let me introduce you to the Banana Splits! The main characters were Fleegle, a beagle; Bingo, a gorilla; Drooper, a lion, and Snorky (called “Snork” in the theme song lyrics), an elephant. Fleegle would assume the role as leader of the Banana Splits and preside at club meetings. The characters were played by actors in fleecy costumes similar to later Sid and Marty Krofft characters such as H.R. Pufnstuf. They all spoke in English (Drooper with a Southern drawl), except for Snorky who “spoke” in honking noises.
The Tra-La-La song is still as infectious today as it was in 1967.

Bronyville Episode 001: My Little Podcast – Friendship is AWESOME
Author: AppleCider
Dear Princess Celestia,
Today I learned that starting out new endeavors with your friends is both fun and challenging. Every new experience is a chance to grow and discover yourself. And this is especially true when you have friends who are willing to help out even if it may be a little right around the edges.
I would like to thank Chef Sandy, Doral, and Keb for jumping into the show this week. And the show is a learning process – we had a while 23 episodes to cover in one show. Give us some time, fellow bronies.
Logo belongs to the internet and the awesome people in it.

Author: KnotCast@foxstuffers.com
This week on KnotCast, its all about the crazy. High bars are set this week for crazy, and Savrin, Fuzz, and Shiva read them as a warning to all.
We also memorialize the Cat of Hate, Lilly, who died tuesday. Her random meowing on the podcast will be missed. Haters gonna hate, but she was the best at it.
This weeks songs are
‘Apple Skytree’ and ‘She’s Just a DJ Unicorn’ by Sci & Chain Algorithm

The new game will allow players to participate in over 50 Olympic sports using characters from the casts of both iconic series. Other than the game's existance, no other information has been released as you will see in the press release on the next page... but at least we know 2 of the games for Nintendo's platforms that we will likely see on display at E3.
DeathSpank Dev's New Game Mashes Up Angry Birds and Plants vs. Zombies
Appropriately enough for Easter, you play as a bunny who shoots eggs at attacking zombies. The debut trailer makes it look like a combination of Plants vs. Zombies (in that there are zombies shambling across someone's yard from right to left) and Angry Birds (you fling eggs, slingshot-style, to take out your enemies).
The developer offered up the following description: "You control a heroic bunny, who must protect children searching for his eggs from waves of Zombie Hordes. These once-deceased characters (nurses, businessmen, cheerleaders and more) will stop at nothing to take what is most precious from these young ovo-searchers. Using the Bunny?s weapon of choice, brightly colored eggs, you can unleash a yolky fury to dismember and decapitate the undead. Aim for the head!"
