The Femme Feline
Contropussy is… well it’s hard to explain right off. It’s a web comic, we know that much, co-written by actress Emma Caulfield (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Camilla Rantsen, with art by Christian Meesey and Thomas Mauer. And now it’s an upcoming trade paperback collection from IDW Publishing. “By day, Contropussy is an ordinary house cat, but at night she comes alive and searches for excitement in the world outside. In this installment Contropussy has a wild night out. The next day, however, she must save her friend from Evil Rabbit and her minions!” IDW should have this full-color collection out in November. Meanwhile, Pink Ray Gun has an in-depth look at the story of the web comic.
Hey r/furry, what're some of the most important things to consider in developing a character?
So the anthro art student organization at my school is hosting a character development workshop tomorrow, so I'm curious; What do you think are some of the more important things to consider when developing a character/fursona? This could apply to any aspect of character creation from concept, to drawing, to costuming, etc.

Furry literature!
Alright guys/girls, it's time for our weekly literature thread. Just finished Track and field by Buckwulf and oh my, it was brilliant. If you have any that you would like submit, you can do so in the comments. Doesn't have to be sfw but if it does have Yiff in it, it would be nice to mark it. I look forward to reading the books that you sugest!

want to see my rats?
At rf they allow pets and I don't feel comfortable leaving them at home. So if you want to cuddle my rats let me know. :)

Just curious about your sonas.
Would anyone like to share their fursonas because scrolling through this sub it seems like I might be the only normal animal (the most interesting I've seen being a snow leopard griffon). Is it really so abnormal to just be a tabby cat? What are some of your fursonas or the weirdest you've heard of/seen?

Who drew this? They do good work and I'd like to know. It's my current Desktop background.
SoFurry is SoHot
Well if you’re a fan of stories, art, music and photographs you may have bookmarked “SoFurry.com” . This site is chalk full of easy to read and look at fandom culture. I think yes, even the knotty stuff is scatted around the place too. Why do I bring this all up? Because, they just graduated their site to a newer version and it’s pretty bad-ass. Head over and see why this site should be a #1 furry fandom stop on your web ride.

My friend is a closet furry. Being an artist, I spent four hours today helping him come to terms with what he is: a snow leopard griffen. Here is the reference picture I made for him--his sona dancing with mine.
Remember seeing a cool hoodie..
I remember seeing on here someone who had a hoodie with a tail and ears on the hood. I wonder where you can buy these and if there's any european website or warehouse or something to decrease shipping, also if you can choose colors and stuff.

Animal Suggestions Please! :)
Hey guys! I was recently asked to make a furry character for someone, and I was wondering if you guys could throw in a few animal suggestions for me! The person in question is nerdy, loud, charismatic and very friendly. She's the type of person who does more waiting for her turn to talk than listening; definitely an extrovert!
If you guys could drop in a few animals that come to mind with that list of adjectives that would be absolutely awesome and I'd be very grateful. Thanks in advance everyone! :D
