Episode 193 - Blame Savrin
Hello again, remember me? I got bored in a Physics Class recently, so I did what anyone would do.
ActFur S4 Ep07 – Metaphurs - Big like a bear? Small as a rabbit? Drop like a Dropfox? We use animals as metaphors in our lives all the times but where do these sorts of phrases stem from? We explore cardboard cops, Undead presidential candidates and a pos
Ok fellow furs. I know we get these a lot, but...
Candy had a baby very recently and is doing $5 min. pay-what-you-want streams to help raise money for her care. The baby's currently in the NICU for various problems, and they're hurtin for a bit of extra cash. It would be awesome if you guys could snag a commission or even stop by to congratulate her! The next stream is on Saturday at 7pm PST :3 Link for the lazy.
For those of you who don't know her, she's the artist who made the comic Vinci & Arty (no link, unfortunately). Her husband, Red, works on the comic Jack (NSFW, really great story though, pretty morbid since it deals with death, hell, and the afterlife in general. Gore+sex+language not suitable for children. Highly recommend it!) Candy's done some great work for me in the past, and I know she'll do right by you :) It'd mean a lot if you guys would at least go check her out!
Stay sexy, fuzzbutts B)

[Meta] Need to say something
Ok, people. I get that you like to post as many pictures of yourself as possible, but remember that there is a specific subreddit in the sidebar for you to do just that. This isn't a vanity contest.

Furry fantasy webcomic with periodic man-sexings! (probably NSFW depending on which page you see first :P)
HAI REDDIT \o/
I've been drawing since I was old to figure out the pencil went on the paper and not up my nose, and have recently revived one of my older ideas for a progressive fantasy webcomic in a Furry form over at FurAffinity :3 I thought the furries of Reddit might approve. And if you don't, well, that's fine too. But I'd still appreciate you taking a look and following it if you enjoy it n.n
Note: You'll need an FA account to view some of the pages as FA blocks any 'adult' labelled content from guest viewing.
Enjoy! :3

A question about the morality of using copyrighted characters on commissions.
Hello /r/furry, this is my first post here (although I have been commenting for quite a while).
I'm an aspiring artist and writer, and I have a question regarding the morality of commissions using third-party characters. A commission may be a reference sheet / completely new design for someone's character, a scene featuring some furry's character(s) or also mixing in OCs with established characters (Pokemon, etc.).
Let's say, if you were a talented artist and some fur asked you to do a picture of his fursona with Renamon as a commission (a classic furry cliché), would you accept it? I know the majority of us would say yes, but I'm still concerned about using copyrighted character designs for profits. I know a commission is simply the payment you receive for doing something, but I do somehow have mixed feelings on doing this.
I'm aware fan-art seems to have a "fair-use" license on dA / FA, etc. and there is no problem in using copyrighted pictures as avatars there, I just see this as some sort of 'indirect piracy' or sorta.
TL;DR: Doing a character design for someone else to use permanently and receive payment: no problem. Drawing a copyrighted character (Disney, Pokemon, etc.) as a commission for some fan: dunno. What do you think?
EDIT: I don't talk about morality here as in "feeling bad on drawing an official character to get personal profits", but also its legal status.

Thought this was in this subreddit at first. I would buy it. [x-post from /r/gaming]
Halp? *Kinda?*
Well, hello all. I'm Anon. I'm a 16 year old guy furry, and have been for the last year. I wan't to meet other furs, but I'm a man of many groups at school. All of them hate the ideas of furrys. I'm reluctant to come out at school, but I love the fandom and the people in it! I live in Stratford Ontario, the place where J'Biebs came from, and I don't think there are many *or any * furs here. There's no conventions or anything, or get together that i'm aware of which sucks :/
