What are some things that have helped you? It could be some sort of 'meme' or, well, anything really. I've found a few "exercises" on the internet, but I would like to know what worked for some of you. I just want to get back into the swing of things, and get used to drawing on a tablet again.

Dear Readers,

2012 was an eventful year for yours truly. As I settled into living in the Coachella Valley in California, I juggled owning a home back in Michigan while renting an apartment. It was an expensive and emotionally grueling experience, but I finally have my new home in Cathedral City and have closed the sale of both houses. 

In addition to making that major move, I started this column in mid May and have answered over 200 letters and have had over 55,000 visitors! Thank you for visiting my site and thank you for not only your questions but also your compliments.

I will continue writing the column as long as I keep getting visitors. Oh! And I will also be giving a forum at FurtherConfusion (January 17-21, 2013), so stop in and say "Hi!" 

Also coming in 2013: the beginning of the American Furry Association! This nonprofit group will be all about supporting furry arts, businesses, and education. We've had some delays because, well, mostly because of me because I was so busy with the house situation, but I know we will be making strides in the future. A Web page is coming soon.

I hope you all had a great holiday season and New Year's Day. Keep those letters coming!

Xavier missed a good pair of shows, which both took place on the same night.  AngelDarkSong (Alex) took his seat and even provided some alcohol for the New Year's Special so we could see 2013 in with a sparkle.  The main show, which ran as a normal 2 hour show, just about ran according to schedule, although Television Talk was dropped again due to lack of time.  The New Year show was lacking in order somewhat, though we did manage to cover some high and low points of 2012, as well as a lot of Final Fantasy talk early on.  2013 was even seen in at roughly the right time, too.  Go us!  Both shows starred TK as the voice in the booth, and Felis and AngelDarkSong on the screen (though we all sound in the same room on the audio podcast).  Backing music by Sanxion7.

For Done and Dusted:
TK talked about the 2009 Disney film A Christmas Carol.
Felis covered some Borderlands 2 DLC.
AngelDarkSong gave us his views on Dishonoured and a quick mention of The Hobbit (HFR).

Television Talk:
There was no Television Talk this week due to time constraints.

I've seen the stupidest thing on the internet recently. A rivalry between furries and bronies. Now, It's a very small amount of people taking part in this, but it bothers me. Why is this even a thing? I can see furries not liking the show because they just don't enjoy it, but all the hate from both sides just seems un-needed and (in the case of a brony) extremely hypocritical. What do you think, r/furry?

According to the definitions that I see, I can legitimately be called a Furry, but I've always been on the fringes of the fandom and am not real familiar with the inside culture.

Can I please get your informal thoughts on what subgenres exist within furry fandom?

I've looked for info online and haven't seen much about this.

- I also don't care at all about overlap or contradiction between different subgenres.

Hello~ I'm making my first fursuit and I'm pretty much lost when it comes to foam. I don't know where to start with finding and buying foam. Does anyone have any tips on buying or finding scrap foam?? Or if anyone has scrap foam they are not using maybe we could figure something out?
