My (furry) name's Fenrae, I'm a 15 year old female gryphon from Northern New Jersey :3 I've "officially" been in the fandom for about a year and a half, although I just started making or remaking accounts to everything not too long ago. I've "stalked" Reddit for about a year, I had the app on my phone but never made an account so this is a new thing for me. Anyway, the main reason I finally decided to join Reddit was because my parents just told me they were considering taking me to Anthrocon for my 16th birthday, seeing as I had expressed interest in going last year. This would be great, but the only issue is I have no furry friends. I went to FA:U over the summer with no one and it was long, awkward, boring, and altogether something I won't do without a friend again. I've been trying to find some over the past year or so but I'm wary of online friendships and I'm also not too social online. So I thought, after much deliberation, Reddit would be a great place to "get myself out there ", so to speak. In short, I'm in need of some furry friends to meet up with maybe at Anthrocon. I'd prefer you be around my age (13 to 17 I'd say), not as a personal thing but my mom will be there too so I don't want her to get freaked out. Anyway if there's anyone out there in search of an online or con buddy, I'm here!

tl;dr: I'm new and I need some friends for Anthrocon and otherwise :3
