Jenny Parks is a traditional artist working in the realms of natural history and animal art. Lately though, she’s come to specialize in fantasy-anthropomorphic illustrations of cat characters.  Cats like Doctor Mew, Hairy Pawter, and Purrlock Holmes.  Of course she sells prints of her cat-work, and you can see examples of that and other illustrations at her web site, www.jennyparks.com.

"A fee or percentage allowed to a sales representative or an agent for services rendered."

Far too often lately I have seen people saying they want to commission someone. Being an artist I then click on the link, thinking I'm going to get work, only to find the following sentence: "I can't actually afford to pay you." I also see a lot of people offering 'free commissions' which, although blunt enough in its meaning, still supports this incorrect understanding that commissions can be free. I'm going to say this as clearly as I possibly can. A 'commission' in art terms is a piece of work you do in return for some kind of compensation ie. money. You cannot have a 'free commission'. That is called a request. If you are after a request or free art please state that in the title of your post. I'm tired of being misdirected.

Once more just to be clear: Commission - the artist should be paid. Trade - the artist should get a piece of art in return. Request - the artist works for free.

I just had had a 3 hour chat with a really cool guy on omegle who said he uses reddit when my internet cut out! after (pointlessly) trying to find you again by trawling omegle and creating some kind of horrific intrachat (note to self, don't use omegle on more than one tab at a time) I decided this was my last hope of finding you again! The chat included talk of universities, foreign politics and laws and ended (ironically) after you pointed out how long the chat had been.
