Hi everybody! :3

So, today I was clicking around on Reddit, and I noticed the 'random' button at the top. I went through a few subreddits before landing here. Instantly, I knew that this what what I'd been looking for.

My name is dawn_of_silver, but you can call me Dawn. I am a teenage girl currently living in Canada, and I'm heterosexual. I have a dog and a cat, and I plan on going to vet school after graduating. I'm fairly "normal", no diseases/disorders, plenty of close friends, healthy, etc, but nobody really knows what I do on the Internet.

I've never felt like I belonged in a human body. It's strange to describe because I would never say anything to my friends, knowing that they wouldn't understand. I've always believed that there is such a thing as a soul, and that reincarnation is real. I think my soul has been an animal before and will be again.

I've mostly done roleplaying as cats on the official Warrior Cats Forums. I've read and re-read the series so many times now I practically know it off by heart. My reading capabilities are above that, but it's nice to have that sort of blanket that an old favourite provides. On a side note, if anybody here likes Warriors/is on the forums, PM me!

Anyways, I discovered the subreddit by accident today. I was hoping that maybe somebody could explain what being a "furry" really is. I know what fursonas are from my past RPing experience, but if anybody could provide what it is to be a furry, things like real life furries vs. Internet furries and how mixing the Internet with RL affects RL, or the sexual aspect of it, pretty much just what it means to be a furry.

Just looking around on FA, being a new fur and such, and I see a lot of groups of people and such. I'm pretty sure my friends irl aren't and I don't want to find out, and get chastised if they arn't. I'm in high school for age reference. How did you meet your fur friends? Sites? Ect.?

Recently on YouTube, Dreamworks Animation released the official trailer for How to Train Your Dragon 2, coming to theaters in June of 2014. Absolutely nothing about the plot is revealed, but it’s easy to see that both Toothless the night fury and his rider Hiccup have grown up considerably — and learned a lot about aerial acrobatics.  The new film is both written and directed by Dean Deblois, half of the team that directed the first film.
