What are the most popular chatrooms/IRC's out there for us furries? Also, what are the best ways to introduce yourself or join into a community? Any help on the matter is appreciated.

I'm trying to get to a "commission-able" level of art and i find it a lot easier to practice if its for someone else. i'd like to do a few sketches (4), inks (2), and colors (2).

Leave a request as if you were buying some art with details/refs/etc.

This is what I came up with:

Harry Potter --> Harry Otter

Harry isn't a normal kid. He lives in a small closet in his aunt's and uncle's home, he looks like an otter and it therefore isolated from other people, and he has magic powers. On his 11th birthday, an owl comes to him with a letter, and the story unfolds...
