Animal Cartoonist v.s Furry Artist: What's the difference?
The title comes off a little bit, rude I must say and that's not how I mean it at all. Sorry if it offends, but this is more of a discussion of sorts to ask some questions and see what other people's opinions on the subject at. Please don't hurt one another, or me over whether or not you agree with the statements
I see constantly groups of people who draw anthro-animals and claim that they are not Furry, but they are practially doing the same thing a furry artist is, only they aren't because they aren't calling themselves Furries.
I guess my real question is, what is the difference both through social-aspect of things and personality-sort of deals. I mean, if I told people I draw animal cartoons instead of furry's, it seems to be a better reaction, but if I tell a furry I draw animal cartoons, a lot of them seem to be "pssh, whatever"
My opinion is just to have whichever side call whichever side whatever they want, but I know that offends people because not all anthro-artists are furries, and not all furries are anthro artists.
It's also a little bit of me asking for advice on whether or not because I draw anthro-animal and am not really sure I want to be a furry but really struggle with finding people with similar opinions :S

Rejoining the furry world, and I need a new collar - one that I can pass off as a normal accessory
Life went a different direction for a while, but I'm back. Got myself a beautiful ear and tail set ordered, working my way back into the community bit by bit, seeing what's up locally this time.... So hey there y'all :D
This has all made me remember how much I love collars though, and the only one I have is a ~1" wide bulky affair that I can't wear without it obviously being a collar.
I'm looking for something 1/4-1/2" wide that looks much more 'normal', if that even exists. Like a tight necklace, almost?
I dunno. Suggestions, anyone? :3

What should I know about getting a fursuit?
Sorry I know this should go to /r/fursuit but I feel like I would get a better response here. I still have some time before I will be able to pay for a suit. I just wanted to know what's recommended and not recommended when finding a maker or what should be in the suit. Being that it's my first time looking for a suit maker I don't want to end up getting screwed or not getting what I hoped for.
