Not a new furry, but I created a new username a while ago and thought I'd make a post on one of my fav subreddits. I guess I'll re-introduce myself: I'm a Wolf and a Nerd (a guy, 16), I like programming, blogging, reading and occasionally writing, listening to music and being a derp on the internet. My fursona's drawing isn't finished yet, but in the meantime I'm using this as a ref (SFW) (not my art, artist could not be found, I even did image searches couldn't find it x3). I don't think some of us are aware that there is a subreddit called /r/furryartschool. You can post your art and people will give you constructive criticism and it's great for helping others improve their art. I think it could use more people. It's a great place to learn and improve.

Hey there survivors, We've been held up in this Mall for 7 days now with little contact with any furs on the outside, your the first non-zed we've seen. Now down to business, I assume your not scratched or bitten? Good, you can stay here with us but its not gonna be free, your gonna need to do your bit by scavaging the city and the shops here for food, water, medicne, bandages and weapons. Hey, I'm trying to earn a bit of money this summer and have gotten a couple of commissions and thought maybe I should dabble in the idea of adoptables, as I know there's typically a good market for one.

I just wanted to know, how effective is it to sell one? Do only artists who have a large following manage to sell one? Are anthro characters more popular or pet characters? Do you normally give them personality before hand or is it strictly a design sale? And what is the best price to sell a fully colored character at?

Galacticat is a regularly-updated black & white on-line comic story about a cat in space named Wallace… with a little bird named Elpy. It’s written by Gene Goldstein and illustrated by Kasey Williams — and the pair make regular appearances at various comic book and anime conventions. What’s more, the first 10 chapters of Galacticat have been collected in a pair of books, Volume 1 and Volume 2, available on both Amazon and Createspace. There’s information about ordering each of them on the Galacticat web site, as well as the latest pages of the story.

In an effort to put myself out in the community a bit more, I'd like to do some ref sheets for whoever. If there are any takers, lemme know, and I'll promise you a ref in at least a day. (It's night where I'm at, so I can do one right now, more tomorrow, and hopefully get enough interest to keep going.) I will charge you not a dime, so come one, come all!

So, some things:

-I will give y'all quality. No-one deserves crap art, even if it's free. That being said, quality's gonna take a liiiiiittle bit of time. And there's a lot of y'all. - I'm not a guy who does feral characters, mainly because I haven't practiced that sort of anatomy. I hope no-one minds their characters being anthro-fied. - RIP my workload; there are a LOT of y'all, and I don't intend on leaving anybody out. I have a job that starts this week, so if I don't get to you today, have no fear, I'll be doing these all week, and I WILL get to you. - I'm keeping to SFW stuff right now. - Y'all have a great day, and a better tomorrow!

So, I've never sent in a commission before, and, alas, I'm terrible at drawing, so, I'm looking for people to draw a user icon for me to use on forums n' stuff. Any artists here accepting commissions currently? Preferable for around the price of $5 - $10. Anyway, thanks!
