《銀刃和白靈》下篇

夕陽西下，白靈像往常一樣來買藥。
「什麼？！已經有人付過錢了？」白靈不敢相信！
「是啊，孩子，已經有人幫你付錢了，好好珍惜你的朋友吧……你的母親也很需要這些。」
說著醫生把藥包遞給白靈，臉上充滿著溫馨的笑容：「他對你，是真的很好呢……」
白靈木訥地接過藥包，呆滯地看著醫生，問：「請問，這個他到底是誰？」
一直以來，白靈都期盼有一個保護神，能夠幫她逢凶化吉，處理各種難以解決的事情，現在，這個保護神，好像真的出現了，就像隱形的天使一樣，默默守護著她，關心著她。
每次她一想到這個保護神，就會心頭暖暖的，像雪地裡的篝火。
「抱歉，我……不能說，但是，有一點可以透露，他是狼族。」說完醫生笑著朝白靈點了點頭。
白靈卻愣著說不出話來。
「會是……他嗎？
不會！絕對不會！
那個濫用金錢的大少爺怎麼會幫我呢？還真是我想多了。」

還有三天就要比賽了，白靈這幾天除了打工，幾乎所有時間都在練舞廳裡，她一邊跳舞，一邊苦思冥想：
這一周內，每次她的菜都被阿姨多加，每次藥也被提前買好，好像真的有一個默默付出的人，一直在暗中幫她，這傢伙會是誰呢？為什麼不肯主動站出來呢？交個朋友多好啊……
當她跳舞停下來時，卻發現了角落中一直看著自己的銀刃。
白靈用手肘頂了頂旁邊的黃肥：「誒，你有沒有覺得，銀刃這幾天一直在盯著我們？」
「有嗎？」黃肥說著把半包零食倒入嘴裡，「小白白……應該是你多心了吧？就算他討厭你也不會一直盯著你吧。」
「可我擔心他會不會又想報復我，之前幾次，都是他策劃好的。」
「哎呀，你就知足吧，那麼多女生都希望能被銀刃多關注幾眼呢，就你最特別！」
「哼！」白靈長哼了一聲，「這種人，真不知道有什麼好的，那麼多女生喜歡。」
「因為長得帥啊，而且又有錢。」
「這些東西能夠活命嗎？你是不知道……」
「好好好～我的白大小姐，白白女皇哦～微臣知道錯了，微臣不再說了，行吧？」黃肥嘟著臉說。
「這還差不多。」白靈笑著摸了摸黃肥軟軟的肉臉，不得不說，比橡皮筋還有彈性！
練完舞後，白靈繼續打工，她要去一間工廠，幫忙搬運貨物。
然而不知怎麼，她總覺得好像有東西跟著她，她走幾步就回頭，卻始終沒看到獸。
終於，白靈停在了一間破舊的工廠前，濃密的黑煙滾滾升起，鋼筋鐵絲的火花四處散開，空氣中遍佈著嗆鼻的硫磺味，劇烈的金屬噪音充斥著耳膜。
白靈二話不說，上前就開始搬運那些沉重的鐵圈，那嬌弱的身軀頂起巨大的鐵圈，看著這場景有一種怪異的違和感，她就那樣一步一步向前走，剛開始很有幹勁，步履穩健，但是看得出來，愈往後就愈發艱難，走起路來也是寸步難行。
不消一會，她的額頭已經掛滿細密的汗珠，但她依舊堅持著，她每走一步，都需要停歇很長一段時間。
白靈不知道，她做的這一切都被一隻狼看在眼底。
是的，銀刃一直在看著她，他很想知道白靈這些天都把時間花在哪裡了。而看到的居然是如此努力的白靈，這就是為了生存做出的努力嗎？白靈身邊那些搬運貨物的獸都是熊、牛一類的，只能看到一隻嬌小的兔子，看似弱不禁風，卻又蘊含著強悍的力量。
終於，銀刃忍不住了，他走上前去，正對白靈。
「你……」白靈看到銀刃，頓時愣住了。
「嘭！」沉重的鐵圈掉在地上，震得獸耳朵發麻。
「你怎麼會在這裡？」
「路過。」銀刃簡潔回答，接著彎下身子把鐵圈扛在肩上。
重！
真重！
沒想到這麼重！
肩胛骨受到壓迫，開始顫抖起來。他沒想到這鐵圈居然這麼重，難怪之前白靈可以輕易舉起他，原來她所經歷的，都是銀刃從未想像過的東西……
「你……你為什麼要幫我？」白靈追問銀刃。
「看你挺累的，就順手幫幫你嘍。」銀刃開始搬運鐵圈。
白靈扯著銀刃道：「不！我不需要你幫！你就應該回去做你的大少爺，這種活我來幹就好！」
銀刃被拉住停了下來，回頭慢慢看向白靈。
陽光透過工廠的間隙，撫在銀刃俊俏的側臉上。
「你知道嗎？白靈，有句話我一直想對你說，我……對不起你。」
「什麼？！」白靈幾乎懷疑自己的耳朵出問題了，這隻自大的銀狼居然主動低頭認錯了！
怪事年年有，今年特別多。
白靈不可思議地看向這只銀狼，這是白靈第一次正眼看待他，銀色的毛皮在陽光底下格外耀眼，幽紫色的大眼睛格外明亮，挺拔的身姿有一種雄性的魅力。
「你……真的道歉？」白靈愣著問道。
「算是道歉，今天我來幫你搬運貨物吧！」銀刃得意地抹了一下鼻子。
白靈嘴角露出久違的微笑，兩隻耳朵垂了下來，洋溢起自然的愜意。
二十分鐘後……
「我……我不行了……我的天啊！這些鐵圈怎麼這麼重啊！」銀刃已經累得開始癱坐在地上哭天喊地了。
「不行哦～」白靈露出狡黠的微笑說，「男人說話可要算數哦～你說過今天要幫我搬的啊，嗯哼？」
白靈抽出了旁邊的木條：「對不講信用的獸，我可是不會手下留情的哦～」
「啊！我的天啊——」
銀刃發出了嘶吼。
「救命啊！——」
「我錯了！——」
「哈哈……銀刃，你好可愛啊……」
「呃……有嗎？」
「沒有，繼續搬！敢停下來，小心老娘抽死你！」
「嗚嗚嗚……大姐手下留情啊！」
「大姐！？去死吧你！」
「嗷嗚——嗚嗚……」

那天過後，銀刃明顯感覺到，白靈對他不再那麼排斥了，兩人之間的誤會已經消除了吧，但不知道為什麼，他還是想要靠近白靈，並不是為了補償。白靈的身影，已經在他心頭揮之不去。
三天很快過去，歌舞比賽今晚舉行。
「小白白，你準備好了沒有，今晚就要舉行歌舞比賽了」黃肥邊啃著玉米邊問。
「差不多好了。」
白靈換好衣服，從更衣間走出，自然地舒展了一下身體。
她身姿優美，素白的紗裙隨風飄揚，有一種高貴聖潔的優雅。
「哇哦，白靈，你好漂亮啊！」黃肥被剛剛更衣結束的白靈驚到了。
「……沒有吧。」白靈的臉有些微紅。
「啊！這麼漂亮，來來來，快給大家看看！」黃肥說著就拉著白靈往外走。
「等等，這不好吧。」
「有什麼不好？小白白……你這麼漂亮，讓大家看看嘛，正好讓以前那些污蔑你的獸刮目相看，走！」
「不，我……不想出去。」
「走啊，你要有自信一點，你很漂亮，很可愛，你跳舞也很棒，你真的非常非常厲害呢！」
「我……」
「別猶豫了，大家一定會嚇一跳的」黃肥強行拉著白靈往外走。
白靈一直以來都覺得自己比不上別的女孩，在別的女孩追星化妝時，她只是在流汗流淚地打工。
「我……不想出去嘛。」
「你這麼漂亮，銀刃一定會喜歡的。」
「啊！？」
黃肥怎麼會突然提到銀刃？
白靈聽到銀刃，突然愣住了，但黃肥還在繼續向前拉。
嘶——
布料撕裂的聲音。
白靈薄弱的紗，被黃肥不經意間撕碎了。
白靈驚恐地盯著這撕裂的白紗，說不出話來。這件衣服是家裡唯一一件算得上美麗的衣服，價格也是不菲，是當時母親為她省吃儉用買下的，也是她永恆的回憶。
但衣服，只是一瞬，便撕裂了。
撕裂的，不止是一件衣服，而是一個夢想，這意味著，她無法參加比賽了。
「啊！對不起，我真的不是故意的……」黃肥驚慌解釋。
終於，經過良久的內心掙扎，白靈冷靜了下來，問道：「你……剛剛為什麼會提到銀刃？」
「啊？……呃……因為，最近都是這麼說的啊……」黃肥扭扭捏捏地回答。
白靈皺起眉頭：「我穿的漂不漂亮，和他喜不喜歡我有什麼關係？到底是哪些無聊獸，整天在背後磨磨唧唧的？」
嘴上這麼說，但不知為何，但當她聽到銀刃這兩個字時，心中有種莫名的敏感，就在剛才，她也是聽到銀刃而愣住了。
「我……真的對不起，你的衣服……」黃肥慚愧地看著白靈。
「算了，這事不怪你……」白靈撿起了地上的衣服碎片，緩緩收入口袋中，眼神中充滿沮喪。
「算了，都算了，這次比賽，我就不參加了……」白靈低下了頭。
「啊？！不參加了？我……我沒想到會這樣，你別慌，我幫你借衣服，你不能放棄自己的夢想啊……」
白靈的耳朵垂了下來，默默不語。
良久，白靈擠出一句話。
「我知道了……」

服裝商場內。
「帥哥，請問你想要什麼衣服？」服務員恭恭敬敬地問。
銀刃紅著臉，有些手足無措，畢竟這是他第一次進入女性服裝區，各種色彩繽紛的服飾令他眼花繚亂。
「呃……這張紙……上面標著三圍……」銀刃略微羞澀地伸出銀色手掌，臉上也泛起一絲紅暈。
服務員一看到這嬌羞的帥哥，笑起來了：「看來是幫女朋友買衣服啊，嗯，我看看，三圍真棒！這裡有幾款合適的，要過來看看嗎？」
「呃……好吧。」
就這樣，銀刃跟著來到了那些最昂貴的衣服前，可突然銀刃感覺不對勁，眼前的這隻獸，實在是太熟悉了。
這隻穿著華貴的獸是……
「媽媽？你……你怎麼在這？」銀刃有些不知所措。
作為銀刃的母親，她銀白的毛間交錯著幽紫色鬃毛，高貴的皮大衣拖在地上，流露出一股華麗氣息。
「誒？刃兒？我在這裡不是很正常嗎？話說你怎麼在這？」
「我……我來買衣服……」
「什麼？」她吃了一驚，「你買衣服？」
以前媽媽幫銀刃買了許許多多的衣服，可以把房間堆滿，銀刃都不要，非得穿得破破爛爛非主流。
銀刃從來不關心自己的衣著，因為他覺得這種刻意的打扮都是無比的矯情，但這次，他沒有絲毫猶豫就進來了。
「是……是啊。」銀刃開始流汗了。
「不過這裡可是女性專區啊？」
「我……我走錯了，嗯，我一定走錯了。」銀刃說著轉身離開，昂著頭吹起口哨。
「等等！」媽媽把他叫停住了，「你是不是有喜歡的女孩了？」
「啊？」銀刃差點摔倒。
「沒……沒有，哪有這回事？」
「別瞞了，喜歡就說出來吧，我可是你媽媽，沒事的～」
「我……確實喜歡一個女孩……」銀刃吞吞吐吐地說出這幾個字。
「她很善良，純潔，會把自己的積蓄分給顛沛流離的老人；她很自強，每天打幾份工，錢都是自己賺來的；她很漂亮，跳起舞來就像仙女一樣；她……真的很好……」銀刃說著低下了頭。
「真好啊……媽媽也能感覺到，你是真心喜歡她了呢，既然如此，那就不要放棄，抓住機會，勇敢去愛她，加油哦～」
「呃！……」銀刃有些始料不及，他本以為母親會極力反對這件事，但是母親卻表現得格外開明。
終於，他眼中閃起了異樣的光輝，他笑著給了媽媽一個傭抱。
「媽媽……謝謝你……」
「傻孩子，你要記住，媽媽永遠支持你。」
「嗯……」
……
半個小時後，銀刃離開。
他母親開始坐在華麗的沙發上抽起了悶煙，看著旁邊的侍從，她漫不經心地瞄了一眼，吩咐道：「你們今天去安排一下，兩個月之內，讓這個女孩徹底從刃兒眼裡消失，越快越好，這麼卑賤的出生，還好意思勾搭我家刃兒，簡直不可理喻！」
「好的，夫人，我們馬上去辦。」
「很好……」她說著吐了一口白煙。

「感謝跳跳選手為我們帶來的自由之歌！是的，每個人都期待著自由，也期待著幸福，已經那令人感動的愛情，下面有請……」
主持人滔滔不絕地朗誦著。
台幕後……
銀刃躲在布簾後，偷偷摸摸地探索著，手中緊緊攢著那鮮豔的服裝。
服裝裡面夾著一張卡：
親愛的白靈：
你好！
我從你朋友那裡得知你在比賽衣物方面有困難，而我這裡剛好有一套衣服，可以借給你穿，不知道對你來說是否合身，就暫時放在這裡了。
來自：一位陌生好心人。
銀刃左看右看，確定周圍沒人後，輕輕把衣服放在椅子上，踮著腳正準備離開，身後卻發出了聲響。
「小白白，你快點啊，馬上就要到你了上場了。」
「好的，好的，馬上就要來了，別急。」
「好想看看你換完衣服的樣子啊，肯定特別好看！」
「哈哈……可能吧……」
銀刃本來準備離開，腳步卻不自覺地停下，順著更衣間的方向看了過去。
「我在想些什麼啊，真是的。」銀刃接著往外走，但走了沒兩步，又回頭了，「不然……我就等等看？反正又沒偷窺……」
於是銀刃再次回頭看著簾幕。
陡然一瞬，簾幕被拉開。
白靈的裸身一下映在銀刃眼中。
白嫩的肌膚晶瑩如玉，柔順的毛髮潔白如雪，長長的耳朵像軟糯的棉花糖，全身每一個關節，每一條筋鍵，每一塊骨骼，都是那樣的完美無瑕，除了……
白靈背後的一道傷疤。
一道傷疤，從後背延伸到前胸，是那樣怵目驚心，像是一跳蜷曲的紅蜈蚣，特別顯眼。
「銀刃……你……啊！——」白靈這才意識過來，一般後幕都是沒有人的，所以她才敢這樣出來換衣服，可是居然被銀刃看了個光！
「等等——聽我解釋……我……」
「銀刃你混蛋！」
白靈說著把道具扔了過去。
「你走開！」
板凳被扔了過去。
「居然偷窺我換衣服！」
衣服被扔了過去。
等等……
白靈躲到簾幕後，瞬間尷尬，衣服被扔了出去。
衣服被扔了出去！
銀刃終於有時間解釋：「我只是路過……沒想到……」
「路過！路過！別再騙獸了！你五次三番靠近我，就是想整我對吧？別以為我不知道！那次籃球就是你策劃的！你還跟蹤我去了工廠！你就是想看我出醜是不是？這次故意來偷看我換衣服！就是想要刁難我！我……我……」白靈支支吾吾起來。
「你就是看不慣我對吧？看我好欺負是吧？你有錢有什麼了不起？有錢就能偷窺別人的隱私？你有錢就能隨意捉弄別人？」
「不是的，不是你想的那樣……」
「還能怎麼樣？你以前做的事我本來可以原諒你了，但你現在！你還想怎麼樣？」
「我……」
「你走開！」
「我……」
「走！現在！立刻！馬上！」
「好……我走……」
銀刃躊躇著轉過了身，簾幕外傳來一片掌聲。

白靈沒有穿那件送來的衣服，因為她不願意隨意接受他人的施捨，儘管如此，白靈也取得了第二名的好成績。
歌舞比賽之後，自習室裡。
「肥肥，你說，這件衣服會是誰買的？」
黃肥一臉無奈地看著白靈，心裡說著「除了銀刃還能是誰啊，外面都傳得沸沸揚揚了」，但卻改口：「呃……好像是某個男生送來的。」
「男生？」白靈豎起耳朵。
「就是，你知道的，最近都說……」黃肥猶豫了一下，接著說，「銀刃，在暗地裡幫你……」
「他！？怎麼可能？他那種紈絝子弟會幫我？」
「說不定是真的哦，我那天的確看到銀刃對阿姨說了什麼，還遞給了她一張卡。」
「他為我出錢？」
「而且，你看看這個……」
說著黃肥拿出了一張收據，上面清楚記載著銀刃買了三個月的藥，而且藥方正好是用來治療白靈母親的病。
「這……」
白靈拿著收據，手不住地顫抖，她睜大眼睛，似乎想要看破這張紙條。
「真的……」
「會是他嗎？」
黃肥終於說出口了：「其實……銀刃喜歡你，大家都知道，這件衣服就是他幫你買的，花了不少錢呢……」
噔——
白靈心中那個壓抑了很久的牆，瞬間崩解了，那個遙遠到不可觸摸的守護神，竟然是那隻偷窺她換衣服的淫狼！
仔細想想，確實解釋得通。難怪銀刃一直默默關注她，難怪那次他會跟著去工廠，難怪……
「原來，我一直錯怪你了，銀刃。」
……
當夜，白靈靠著昏黃的蠟燈，用漂亮的文字寫下一封感謝信：
親愛的銀刃：
你好！
抱歉，我一直不知道是你在幫助我，我一直把你當成敵人，我知道是我小心眼，但是你也有不對是吧？總之不能全賴在我身上啦，哎呀……反正就是謝謝你了。對啦，那件衣服非常合身，你是怎麼知道我的三圍的？我懷疑你是不是在監視我，不過……真的很謝謝你，一直幫我，我……我……真不知道說什麼，一句話：謝謝你！謝謝你全家！這封信你不收也得收！收了必須看！
還有啊，明天我想請你吃頓飯，這個你不許拒絕！必須我買單！不然我就……總之，你必須來！就這樣。
來自：一位陌生的好心人
……
次日，銀刃坐在窗戶前正在為考試發愁，卻突然收到了一封來信，居然是白靈的！
他一句一句讀著，時不時笑著，也只有白靈才會把一封感謝信寫成這樣吧，像封責備信！
夕陽透過窗戶照到銀刃臉上，映射出他的影子。
他微笑著寫著回信：
好的，不見不散。

翌日下午，約定好的小餐館裡面，銀刃早早來到，穿著整齊帥氣的紳士服。在沒獸看到的時候，他會時不時打理脖子上的小領結。
他焦急地看著手錶，時間快到了，他不由得緊張起來，尾巴也開始焦慮地擺動。
「快來了……」
銀刃緊張地握起餐具。
「時間已經過了，怎麼還沒來？再等等吧……」
兩個小時過去……
白靈始終沒有來。
銀刃感覺不對勁，但是依舊等了下去。
天色漸暗，夕陽也褪去了薄紗，世界暗沉下來。
沒人來，一直沒人來。
這期間，銀刃向白靈打了電話，沒有回覆。他還打電話給白靈的閨蜜黃肥，黃肥也不知道白靈去哪了。
銀刃心中隱隱有些不安，猶豫了很久，他終於離開了餐廳。
「也許是她太忙了吧……」
15.
第二天，銀刃早早出了門，直奔學校。
在路上，他遇到了黃肥。
「黃肥，今天有看到白靈嗎？」
黃肥疑惑地抬起頭：「昨天她一直沒有回你嗎？」
「沒有啊！」
「啊？說實話，從前天下午，我就沒有見到她了，我還以為她和你……」
「嘖！白靈到底去哪了？你去她家看過嗎？」
黃肥搖了搖頭：「太遠了，她家離這裡有十幾里路呢，說不定是家裡有什麼事……」
「家裡？」
銀刃開始擔心起來，白靈的父親早早去世，家中只有臥病在床的母親，她到底幹嘛去了？
終於，銀刃到學校了。
同學：「什麼？你說白靈？沒看到啊，昨天她都沒來上課。」
醫生：「那個女孩？很奇怪，她昨天沒過來取藥，這可是她媽媽的救命藥啊……」
阿姨：「沒看到。」
歌舞隊友：「她不是和你去……玩了嗎？怎麼反到我們這裡來找了？哈哈，銀刃，你可要對白靈負責啊……」
「白靈？沒看到。」
「沒有。」
「白靈？」
一連問了許多獸，沒有一隻獸知道情況，看來，事情真的嚴重了！
一個上午，銀刃心中焦躁不定，完全沒心思聽課。
白靈到底去哪了？
趁著中午，銀刃擅自離開學校，他和黃肥一起前往白靈的家。
山路崎嶇不平，銀刃只能徒步前行，還好他來過，記得路線，一路上，銀刃汗流浹背，黃肥卻趴在地上，不願意起來。
「你……你去吧，我太累了。」黃肥氣喘吁吁地躺在地上說。
銀刃擦著汗，扶著樹幹：「那好吧，你先休息，我先去看看。」
銀刃步若流星。
走快點！再快點！白靈，你不能有事！
終於，銀刃來到了那個破舊的小木屋，猛地拉開了門。
咯吱——
剛踏入屋裡，銀刃瞪大了眼睛。
白靈的母親倒在地上，面容枯槁，青筋浮現，抬起的手臂顫抖，在地上無力地爬著。
再看四周，各種瓷器被摔得粉碎，鋒芒逼人，棉被被甩在地上，衣櫃東倒西歪，衣服扔得到處都是，場景一片混亂。
「你……就是銀刃吧？」白靈母親氣息奄奄。
「救救白靈……虎……虎頭幫……」
銀刃心裡一震：「虎頭幫！」
虎頭幫，安斯維尼亞最大的拐賣團隊，經常綁架各種獸人，以此販賣盈利。
但是……虎頭幫怎麼會找到這裡？
「救救……白靈……」她說完暈了過去。
銀刃安置好她，準備出門，黃肥恰好出現，於是他吩咐黃肥照顧好她，自己出去尋找白靈。
臨走前，銀刃回頭對著黃肥說了一句：「如果我明早沒有去學校，你就幫我報警吧，拜託了。」
黃肥木納地點了點頭。

天色漸暗，銀刃背著滿滿黑色皮包出了門，走在路上，他翻開了手機，一條消息彈出螢幕：
錢帶來了嗎？帶好了就來地下商場，我不敢保證你能夠找到那個叫做「白靈」的女孩，但是我能為你短暫打開攝影機和大門，如果你真想幫她，就快點過來，馬上就要換班了，我怕被上頭發現了。」
銀刃費盡心思，找到了「虎頭幫監獄的管理員」，並且花巨金收買了他，但這也只能換到一個找到白靈的機會，這件事他不能明目張膽出動家裡的資金，只能偷偷來，為了白靈與「虎頭幫」作對，家族絕對不會同意。
「打開地下室暗門，那裡有條通道，到時候我們會在第一個下水道那裡交接，你把錢交給我，我幫你打開監控影像，能不能找到她，就看運氣了，我也只能幫到這裡。」
「好的。」銀刃沉悶應了一聲。
來到下水道，果然有一個暗門，推開一看。
一股悶燥的氣息撲面而來，這裡燈火通明，門庭若市，一點不像骯髒的地下管道，四周被裝飾得五花八門，令人目不暇接，裡面車水馬龍，人流熙熙囔囔，各種混雜的笑聲不斷轟擊著耳膜，商人的相互調侃，各種吟唱拉客，混雜著哭泣嘶吼，一一砸在銀刃心底。
沒錯！這裡就是安斯維尼亞最大的人口販賣市場！古爾多市場！
這裡的獸人素質及其低下，講話唾沫橫飛，大放闕詞，人群魚龍混雜，這裡是最陰暗的地方。
「你來了。」犬人管理員看了看銀刃，「你的錢呢？」
「先讓我進入監控室再給。」
「呵，和我玩這套，可以，但……不要有任何的癡心妄想，否則我不能保證你能從這裡活著出去。記著，不要懷疑我的話。」
銀刃沉默不語。
咯吱——
監控室的大門打開，瞬間，幾十個畫面映入眼中，五花八門的資訊胡亂飛舞。
「我可是為了幫你，把所有與 <兔子> 有關的交易現場都調出來了，我也只能幫你到這裡了。」
「白靈……你到底在那裡？」面對這鋪天蓋地的幾百隻兔子，銀刃有些不知所措。
太多了！太雜了！現在完全沒有任何思緒！
如何在茫茫人海中找到你？白靈？你出現啊？你到底在哪裡？
「哦，對了，你的時間不多了，還有一分鐘，就算還沒找到的話，也必須請你離開了，錢我還是照收不誤的。」犬人說著詭笑了一下。
銀刃開始慌了，開始左顧右盼，螢幕中幾百隻兔子活動起來，簡直讓人頭大。
等等！那隻好像是的！不！不對！白靈不喜歡這種衣服……
那個在睡覺的是白靈？不，不對，也不是，白靈的毛不是這個顏色。
「還有三十秒，快一點。否則後果很嚴重。」
白靈？你到底在哪裡啊？我怎樣才能找到你啊？
與此同時，人群之中，白靈也被困在一個牢籠裡，此時的她手足無措，只能任人宰割，她的心中充滿焦慮：不知道媽媽怎麼樣了，我不在，誰幫忙買藥？我的朋友又少，誰會關注到我消失呢？還有……沒有按約定和銀刃見面，他會不會討厭我？都什麼時候了，還在想這個！
要是……有誰能救救我就好了……也許……我真的會在這裡結束吧……不過……謝謝有你，銀刃，讓我明白了什麼叫做關愛，真的很謝謝啊……
「還有十五秒。」
白靈？白靈！
銀刃開始絞盡腦汁回想之前有關白靈的記憶：白靈不喜歡張揚，但是卻努力把每件事做好，所以那些穿得花俏的兔子一定不是白靈。白靈的毛皮很純正，所以那些毛色有雜質的一定不是她！白靈很聰明，現在的她一定想著逃跑。
但是即使如此，目標還是太多了。
突然，銀刃想到了！
傷痕！
那次陰差陽錯，闖入白靈更衣室的時候，看到了白靈身上那一條長長的傷痕，觸目驚心的像是一條紅蜈蚣，沒錯！就是那個！
在哪？在哪？
傷痕！傷痕！
「白靈！」
「還有八秒。」
「找到了！她在517號房間！」
銀刃終於看到，白靈蜷縮在那個鐵牢裡，想要離開，卻無能為力，眼神中充滿著憂慮。
「好的，我馬上為你打開牢籠，但是只能救她一個。」
「一個就夠了，就她一個！」
剛剛說完這句話，銀刃就猶豫了。這裡被困住的人，大都是和白靈一樣的貧困人口吧？他們都有自己原本的生活，都有自己的幸福家庭，但是卻被這個「虎頭幫」抓到這裡，他們這些人……也是很可憐。
「錢我放在包裡了。」銀刃說著提起包，慢慢打開。
誰知道銀刃在開包的過程中迅速加快動作，從那滿滿的一袋錢中抽出了一條電擊棒！
「人渣！都應該消失帶殆盡！」銀刃迅速撲倒犬人，並用電擊棒電暈了他。
「世界啊，開始救贖吧……」
銀刃深吸一口氣，按下了所有的牢籠開關！
一時間，所有的被困住的獸人全部一湧而出，場面亂成一團，攤位被撞倒，各種被販賣的器官撒得滿地都是。恐怖的、集聚了無數怨氣的生命一個個破籠而出，低沉的嘶吼，高亢的尖鳴籠罩起整個世界！
「我們自由了！」
「逃！快逃！離開這個地方！」
人群紛紛向出口湧動，人推人，人擠人，一片人山人海。
但這人群之中，卻有一匹銀狼逆流而上，他奮力向前！努力拼搏著。
「白靈，等著，我馬上就要來了！」
此時此刻，白靈的牢籠也打開了，她跟著人群緊張地前行，現在她的腦子中只有一個想法：混亂！太混亂了！
各種碎末到處都是，不斷有獸人被踩死。最終屍骨無存。
白靈走著走著，突然發現，人群停下來了！
她順著目光向前望去，沉重的鐵門重重地合上，前方的大門被關閉了！
「現在怎麼辦？」人群中疑惑聲不斷。
而此時的白靈也開始想辦法了。
突然，一隻手搭在白靈的肩膀上。
「啊！」白靈下意識一聲尖叫，把銀刃嚇了一跳。
「啊，等等，我是銀刃。」
「銀刃？你怎麼？你也被抓了？」
「不……我是來救你的，剛剛我打開了所有牢籠的大門，現在我們要趕在大門關閉前出去！」
「可是……」白靈猶豫了一下，眼神中充滿迷離。
「大門已經關上了。」
「什麼？！」銀刃一驚，望著那漆黑的沉重大門，頓時說不出話來。
白靈卻咬了咬牙：「不，我們不能就這麼坐以待斃，不能放棄！銀刃，你要知道，你救的不是一個人，而是一個群體，這個群體的名字叫做——窮人。」
「現在！銀刃，你負責引導人群，我去破解電腦的系統，去打開大門!」
「你能做到嗎？」銀刃有些將信將疑，白靈雖然各科都很強，但是電腦這一塊，她真的很厲害嗎？
「相信我！」白靈說著跑向控制室。
銀刃開始指揮人群：「請大家靜一靜！冷靜下來，大門馬上就會打開的！不要慌張！」這是銀刃第一次指揮這麼多人，就像一位偉大的革命領導者，在高臺上宣誓！
銀刃現在只能那麼做，現在他的腦海中又想起了白靈曾經說過的話：「別以為有幾個臭錢就了不起，知識是能用錢買來的嗎？」是啊，白靈現在能夠去破解程式，但他卻只能在這裡急切的等待。
也許我的想法，一直都是錯的，白靈……才是對的啊。
突然，人群中出現了一聲槍響，接著一大群老虎人沖了進來：「你們誰要是敢跑，我們就開槍殺了誰！」頓時，人群安靜下來。銀刃卻在人群中默默流冷汗。白靈，一定要再快一點啊！
快了，快了！白靈不斷在提醒自己，她自學了《駭客技術與控制》，現在正是發揮知識力量的時刻！3！2！1！解鎖！
轟——
大門緩緩打開，人群傾瀉而出。
銀刃看著緩緩打開的大門，喜悅竄出了眉梢。
白靈破解完後也開始迅速離開，朝著銀刃跑去。
「快！快！趕緊跑，他們手中有槍！」
銀刃看著眼前這隻救了大家的兔子，說不出什麼感覺，只是發自內心感嘆了一句：「你真棒！」
白靈回頭一笑：「銀刃，謝謝你……」
「咦……？」銀刃有些始料未及，白靈突然說出來，他倒是有些臉紅了。
本該是溫馨的時刻，但突然出現的槍響將他們拉回眼前。
「在那邊！開槍！就算打死也不能放過！」
「快跑！」銀刃拉起白靈的手，拔腿就跑。
一狼一兔，手牽著手，鑽進地下管道，但虎兵窮追不捨，而面對他們的，是三條路岔口！
「現在怎麼辦？」白靈焦急地問。
銀刃自信地說道：「走這邊！這邊人群地氣味更重！人群是往這邊走的！」
白靈驚羨地看著銀刃，點了點頭。有個狼鼻子就是好。
可接下來又是三道岔路口，這次銀刃無法了，氣味差不多，無法分辨。
白靈卻笑了：「走這邊，這邊聲音最大！人群最多！」
銀刃驚羨地看著白靈，點了點頭。有雙兔耳朵就是好。
終於，在兩人密切地配合下，他們順利來到了出口，銀刃搶先一部去外面看看，為白靈探探路，白靈在後方墊後，突然間，槍聲再次響起，接著是白靈的尖叫。
難道說……
白靈被打中了？
不敢想像，銀刃趕緊往回跑，卻看到了白靈躺在地上，血紅染上她的毛皮，長耳軟在地上，分外淒慘！
「白靈！不！你怎麼了？」
「不要管我，你快走，他們有槍……你快跑，否則你也會……」白靈說著暈了過去。
銀刃二話不說，抱起白靈就開始往外跑，身後並沒有傳出槍擊聲。
白靈軟弱的躺在銀刃懷中，像是一個嬰兒，任何一點風吹草動都會結束她的生命，白靈的氣息越來越微弱了。
「別睡覺啊！千萬別睡！」
銀刃知道，一旦白靈睡著，就再也醒不來了！
「求你了，白靈，你不能睡著啊，是你，讓我明白了自己的想法事多麼愚蠢無知！是你，讓我明白了原來這個世界上還有那麼多貧窮無助的人！是你，讓我明白了什麼叫做愛，白靈，我……真的喜歡你……」
「白靈！千萬別睡啊！」
白靈的眼睛輕輕打開，修長的睫毛在微風中翕動，她微笑著看著銀刃；「其實……我也喜歡你……但是……可能我們不會有機會了……」
「不！別睡啊！你千萬不要睡！」
銀刃腦海中又開始浮現白靈的那些話：
沒錯，我就是白靈，白靈就是我。再見！
銀刃乖~千萬別生氣哦，我才不會告訴你，我其實是讓著你的哦~
不！我不需要你的幫忙！你就該回去做你的大少爺，這種活我來做就很好！
哈哈……銀刃，你好可愛啊……
大姐？！去死吧你！
你有錢有什麼了不起？有錢就能偷窺別人的隱私？你有錢就能隨意捉弄別人？
謝謝你！謝謝你全家！這封信你不收也得收！收了必須看！
其實……我也喜歡你。
這些過去的或苦或甜的話語環繞在他耳邊，讓他萬分痛苦。
男兒有淚不輕彈，但是此時的銀刃卻真的哭了出來：「白靈，你不能睡啊，醒醒啊！」
「白靈——」
白靈似乎被這真摯的呐喊觸動，她微微睜開了眼睛，用微弱到幾乎聽不見的聲音說道：「銀刃……我想拜託你最後一件事情。」
「什麼事？」銀刃止住淚水問道。
「把你的頭靠過來。」
當銀刃把頭靠近過來時，白靈強行吻了上去。
銀刃眼睛瞪大，他完全沒想到居然事這種情況，自己居然被白靈強吻了？！
白靈會心地笑了，那一刻，時間顯得無比漫長，月亮高掛天空，映射著聖潔的光輝，四周樹木沙沙作響，像是在歡樂地頌歌，世界如此美好。
突然，銀刃感覺不對勁。
等等！
白靈身上，怎麼有種奇怪的味道？
有點像是……番茄醬？什麼情況？！
白靈看到呆愣的銀刃，哈哈大笑起來：「呆子！現在才發現！這就是番茄醬，我演戲不錯吧？」
銀刃木訥了一秒鐘，馬上回過神來，狡猾地笑道：「演的好！這樣的戲，我想再演一遍！」
「你想怎樣？」
接著銀刃不管白靈的掙扎，抱著白靈回了自家的小黑屋。

明黎：方便與我們分享RM布偶創立的由來嗎？
RM布偶：RM布偶，R跟M這個名稱是由兩個創始人英文名字的開頭字母創立的，因為喜歡布偶，且立志想要收集全部的寶可夢布偶，結果後來做著做著就做出興趣來。
明黎：那請問｢R｣跟｢M｣的兩位創始人的英文名字是？
RM布偶：Rubby跟Mark。
明黎：想請問你們做這些布偶做了多久了？
RM布偶：從開始到技術純熟也花了不少時間，我們花了三年的時間一直不斷地磨練自己的技巧，直到去年才創立了RM布偶。
明黎：請問製作布偶帶給了你們什麼感覺？
RM布偶：很可愛、很喜歡；我們把布偶都當作自己的孩子看，所以即便每隻布偶送出去了，我們還是很關心它們的狀況！

明黎：所以…像是送養小動物那樣囉？
RM布偶：這樣講似乎有點奇怪呢～跟小動物不大一樣，小動物跟布偶對我們來說還是差異蠻大的，我們分得很清楚。
明黎：這些布偶對你們來說有什麼重要的意義嗎？
RM布偶：完成的作品如同我們的孩子，我們希望委託人也可以好好珍惜自己專屬的布偶，跟我們一起分享這份喜悅。
明黎：有曾經遇過經營的高低潮嗎？
RM布偶：以我們的認知是沒有，畢竟這不是我們的本業，布偶對我們來說就只是興趣，所以也沒有所謂的高低潮。
明黎：團員之中會有怎樣的互動跟趣事嗎？
RM布偶：我們每半年會找空閒的時候安排出去玩；至於趣事的話，有時候我們會不小心接錯顏色，結果一直重複修改XD
明黎：對於未來有什麼願景或是期許嗎？
RM布偶：我們希望可以人手一隻我們的布偶！！
《異世界外送專員》第一章：啊掉了

拎著從店家手上拿到的熱騰騰餐點，霍亞霆看著手機上的地址，站在一間有點破舊的公寓前面。
照往常的他按響了門鈴，沒多久便聽見對方接起對講機話筒，但是沒有出聲，這種情況，只要是做外送的也就見多不怪了，於是霍亞霆便回應了這無聲的應答。
「你好，歐爸ＥＡＴ外送。」
話剛說完，原本深鎖的公寓大門「喀嚓。」的應聲解鎖，大門間開出了一條細縫，一股懾人的氣壓像是被釋放般地從門縫中竄出。
霍亞霆不由得打了個冷顫，心裡想說些甚麼卻又說不出來，他只好硬著頭皮推開門上樓。
「蹦棒！」
才剛踏進樓梯間，也不知道是哪裡吹來的風，將霍亞霆身後的大門給關上。
一聲巨響之下，霍亞霆也真的被嚇到，他回頭看了一下身後自己關上的大門，現在自己就像是電影裡踏進鬼屋的待宰羔羊。
再看了下四周，一樓樓梯間上方有著一盞燈，可是卻異常昏暗，但是沒辦法，客人的餐點還在手上，不送不行。
霍亞霆硬著頭皮步上樓梯，只是越往上走，越是黑暗，只能藉著身後一樓微微傳來的燈光，勉強才能看清楚。
此時他聽見了上方有人快速奔跑下樓的聲音，他滿心期待的盼望著是訂單者來取餐，因為他現在只想趕快離開這讓他渾身不舒服的鬼地方。
「啊！不好意思。」
「啊！肝……」
一個慌張地人影從樓梯轉角竄了出來，是剛才從樓上下來的人，兩個人驚呼了一聲。
下樓的人差一點就撞上了霍亞霆，而霍亞霆也只差一點髒話就直接脫口而出，要不是霍亞霆修養夠，及時收住了那差點講出來的字。
只見那個差點撞上霍亞霆的人穿著西裝，手上提著公事包，看起來並不像是下來取餐的人。
他閃身避過了霍亞霆，繼續快步地走下樓梯，而在他與霍亞霆擦身而過時，還能聽見他嘴裡唸唸有詞地重複說著：
「遲到了啦，開會遲到了，要被炒魷魚了。」
隨後，聽見大門「喀嚓。」的一聲被打開，又一聲「碰！」的被重重關上。
現在那個冒失的人已經走出大門，然而站在二樓樓梯間的霍亞霆，卻依舊能清楚地聽見那個人慌張的腳步聲。
幽暗的樓梯間裡，加上差點被突然竄出的人撞上，即使現在是大白天，但在這狹小又陰暗的樓梯間，還真的是容易嚇死人的。
霍亞霆臉色蒼白的摸著胸口，確認自己心臟還在跳動，感覺到自己心跳正撲通撲通的快速壓縮著血液。
一想到剛才發生的事，霍亞霆慶幸著剛才吃完飯時有上廁所，要不然現在褲底可能就已經濕一片了。
好不容易從驚嚇中回過神，霍亞霆看了看這令他心生厭惡的破舊公寓樓梯間，心中頓時生出了不少想法。
『什麼鬼地方，沒有電梯，樓梯暗得要死也不裝個燈，還差點被嚇死。』
霍亞霆心裡一邊咒罵一邊拿著餐點上樓，來到三樓轉角，一道明亮的陽光從樓梯間氣窗照下，使得這裡顯得格外清新，讓他感覺自己像是得到了救贖一般。
但是霍亞霆送餐的位置是在四樓，他抬頭向四樓望去，他看見了那一絲光亮，長長的樓梯間，就只在最高樓層裝了一盞燈，這設計品味實在怪的讓人摸不著頭緒。
只是那盞燈，現在卻讓霍亞霆深感不安，因為那並不像是帶著他迎向美好終點的曙光，一明一滅的閃爍燈光，更像是對霍亞霆招著手的恐怖深淵。
秉持著專業的精神，霍亞霆手一捏緊，大步勇敢的向樓上邁去。
可是由於剛才驚嚇，霍亞霆此刻不時地回頭看向那像是代表最後希望光芒的氣窗，一步步踏上階梯。
霍亞霆停在了樓梯轉角處，只要走過這個彎，前方等待他的便是未知的恐懼。
他看了最後一眼氣窗，轉過頭的眼神裡充滿堅決的火焰，踏上那令他心生恐懼的階梯。
「嗲——」
按響了門鈴，那沙啞般的漏電門鈴聲似乎是這種老舊公寓的標準配備，霍亞霆站在客戶家門口，身後那忽明忽暗的樓梯燈，彷彿自己置身在恐怖片的場景裡。
等了一下，沒有人應門，於是霍亞霆隔著兩扇門對裡面呼喊，試著引起屋主的注意。
「有人在家嗎？外送。」
但是又過了一會，依舊感覺屋裡沒有任何動靜，空氣中除了身後那閃爍燈光傳來的「啪嚓，啪嚓。」聲，只剩下安靜。
霍亞霆伸手準備再一次按響門鈴，他實在不願意繼續在這詭異的空間裡多留一秒。
「喀擦。」
就在霍亞霆手指頭剛碰到門鈴還沒有按下去的那瞬間，眼前的鐵門自己開了鎖，向外彈出了一些。
此時因為鐵門自己解鎖了，霍亞霆感覺到恐懼萬分，因為這種老式的簍空鐵門，是內外互相可以看到，還需要手動才能開門，不可能以電動的方式開門。
更何況這是住戶家的大門，不是樓下樓梯間的那扇鐵門，主人怎麼可能沒有確認來客就逕行開鎖迎客，而且，裡面那扇木門現在依舊是緊閉著，根本不可能會有人來開鐵門的鎖。
然而霍亞霆眼前的狀況就是如此，他可以很確定的說，門自己打開了，而且沒有人。
帶著忐忑不安的心，霍亞霆拉開了鐵門，轉手扭開了木門推進去，在推開木門時一陣涼風吹出，是令人舒服的風，是冷氣，霍亞停瞬間安心了不少。
印入眼簾的屋內燈火通明，室內富有品味的裝潢，感覺在這破舊公寓中竟然是別有洞天，霍亞霆感慨著是不是自己心裡想太多。
「請……」
「東西幫我放門口鞋櫃上，錢在那邊自己拿。」
正當霍亞霆要開口之際，有一個聲音從遠處房間傳來，一個粗曠的聲音，屋主像是會讀心似的，搶在霍亞霆說話前給了他明確的指示。
「好。」
霍亞霆沒看到訂單的客人，他依照指示放好餐點拿走錢，一邊環顧了這間屋子，沙發、２０吋液晶螢幕、酒櫃、山水畫，高級的裝潢擺設讓他在心理驚嘆不已。
只是在這些高級的家具中，霍亞霆總覺得有那些不協調。
霍亞霆一邊點算著錢，一邊繼續看室內，尋找著那令他感覺不協調的存在。
這時他注意到了，除了在這破舊公寓裡居然有這麼高級的存在外，就是，這間屋裡居然沒有任何一扇窗戶，難怪要開著冷氣。
而他也注意到，在客廳正中央畫著奇怪一幅的……法陣？
「鏗！」
正當霍亞霆想得入神，手中的硬幣掉落，直直地朝屋裡滾去。
「啊！」
霍亞霆驚呼了一聲，他追了上去，硬幣在最後滾了幾圈後停下來，霍亞霆彎下腰撿起來，這時他發現他沒有脫鞋子直接踩到了人家家裡，而且正巧的站在了剛才他看到的法陣裡的邊上。
「碰磅！」
還來不及回頭，霍亞霆身後的兩扇門便自己關上，受到驚嚇的霍亞霆想回頭看，但不知為甚麼的身體動不了，就連他想轉頭看身後被關上的門也沒辦法，整個人像被凝固在空氣中，維持著一個半彎腰撿東西的動作。
室內的燈火逐漸暗了下來，同時，他感覺到自己所在的空間，似乎正在下降，而且這速度極為有感覺，應該說，這不是在下降，是下墜。
隨著下降的高度，與逐漸熄滅的燈火，霍亞霆發覺，除了自己的視線變暗，連知覺、聽覺、嗅覺，自己所有的感官正一點一點被剝奪。
最終，他身處一片黑暗，他的身體失去了知覺，感覺不出空間的下墜，感覺不到自己的身體，也聽不到周遭的聲音，連自己一整天上午在外奔波所流的汗臭味也聞不到……

Harvest Moon FurFest: New BIPOC-led furry convention comes to Maryland in 2022.

In light of recent events regarding the murder of George Floyd at the hands of the police, activist movements have tried to raise awareness of the racial injustices which are still happening in today’s society. The issue of racial inequality has once again been brought to light by these events, and many people believe we have a long way to go until people of color feel safe in our communities.
Fandoms from science fiction to furry haven’t always been as diverse as they could be. As fandoms grow, previously overlooked members see each other and want to be seen. Now one group of furry fans from Maryland are aiming to take things into their own hands by running a convention mainly with the help of those from BIPOC communities.
Harvest Moon FurFest, which is set to take place on a 200-acre campground in Maryland, is the newest of a plethora of furry conventions that take place around the globe. However, unlike most, Harvest Moon FurFest’s main goal is to build the convention from its original foundation by people of color and of other marginalized groups. The board is mainly run by those from black communities, but the CEO of the con has assured those with concerns that people of all backgrounds are free to attend, volunteer, or apply for staff at the event.

The convention, which invites con-goers to camp on private grounds used for large festivals, is set to host a variety of events. They include fursuit dances, team games, and live music. The idea came into fruition after the CEO, Chise, helped raise over $9,000 for BIPOC communities over a four hour period during a charity stream.
“The idea was tossed around in the past and after seeing how well our stream did, we thought that if the BIPOC community could come together and make such an astronomical amount in four hours, imagine what we could do at a convention,” said Chise. “Not to mention it has been long strived for to have a BIPOC-led con board to help meet the needs and wants of a diverse fandom.”
She also felt as though concerns from the community around these issues have been ignored. “I think a lot of the concerns of those in the BIPOC community have gone unheard. Whether it is them feeling uncomfortable concerning hate groups that may be attending a convention or the lack of representation on certain con boards, this con seeks to eliminate those negative feelings.”
A small group of people on Twitter voiced their concerns about the con and even tagged the developers of the Harvest Moon video game series, Natsume, in hopes to stir up disapproval. The company voiced support for the convention, but one commenter complained that it was “sad to see that Natsume supports racial segregation.” These misconceptions about the convention being only for BIPOC have been quickly quashed by the con board.
The CEO told me that they are committed to stopping the spread of these lies. “You’re hearing it straight from the horse’s mouth. Our convention is open to absolutely everyone regardless of their race. Unless you hear it from myself or my board, it isn’t valid information.”
It took approximately a week to set out the initial plans for the convention. “I am the type of person when I have an idea and a vision, I don’t stop,” said Chise.
With over 6,000 responses to the first announcement, expect a bright rise for the first Harvest Moon FurFest in Maryland in the Fall of 2022.

The Fandom documentary: A bid for Netflix and a quick review.
@MacthePherson submitted his review of this documentary about furries, and here’s how it’s faring so far.
- Since July 3 release on Youtube, The Fandom has 160K views (on July 8.)
- Press so far is linked on the movie’s IMDB page.
- Cartoon Brew ran with a Dogpatch Press tip about it. Their animation industry news site isn’t afraid to roast sacred cows or other fandoms. They even answered the tip that their last furry story was about porn in 2016! The good review was a pleasant surprise for some fans who were bracing for judgement.
- Animators at a studio that’s not yet named saw and loved The Fandom, and will join a news story about furries in their industry.
- Options for distribution were hampered by 2020’s shutdowns, but you can help get it on Netflix now.

“The Fandom”. A quick review.

As someone who likes films and has a degree in film school, I like to be honest. This is a very quick review with my first impressions, straight out of watching it. That means these initial impressions regarding the film may change over time, and that this review may lack some polishing and in-depth detail.
The film is well shot, has good pacing and is very informative, but I must say it’s very similar to many other documentaries — and being made by people of the fandom does mean that there’s some subjectivity and it can feel like a promo/advertisement, if the informative stuff is removed. It’s a bit of a mix between a TV report, a documentary and a promo. It does feel a bit like one of those long TV current affairs programs or news magazines television programs, like BBC Panorama. I guess I kind of hoped it would try to be a bit more artistically interesting. Just a bit. Wasn’t expecting it to, and it didn’t, but I still had hope.
Am I saying it’s bad? No. Absolutely not. It is a good film. It captures feelings without being too soppy. It shows some restraint in not trying to make it feel too emotional, but emotional enough. It’s not really a documentary though. It’s not an infomercial either, though it can feel a bit like that at times. I would somewhat describe it as 2/5 informative, 2/5 documental, and 1/5 promotional (out of a total of 5/5).
The style of filming and editing is conventional (a bit conservative), but a lot of documentaries are, and I imagine this is done for the following reasons: it makes it easy to understand; and it reaches a much bigger audience through that somewhat-generic approach. There’s nothing wrong with that, and it doesn’t mean a lot of effort wasn’t put into it. This is, after all, an independent production made with way less resources than a big budget production, and still feels very professionally made by a big company.
There’s nothing inherently wrong with it, that I can point out. It is very much SFW (Safe For Work), which is to be expected, given the wide range of audiences and ages it is intended for, much like fandom itself.
It’s a film made by people who are very much within the fandom, who try to inform but also spread a message. Perhaps it’s that last bit that doesn’t really make it fully documental in nature. An advertisement or propaganda, it most certainly isn’t, but it does feel a bit promotional. If that is its intent, then that’s ok. But it does bring just a small bit of doubt about its objectivity. Sure, it’s understandable that it’s trying to clear up some misconceptions and stereotypes. But it can feel like sometimes it’s still promoting the fandom while doing it. This is sometimes visible through the more emotional bits, even if it’s not a particularly emotionally charged film, and also through some of the informative bits.
I can also understand that many times, when an outsider tries to make a documentary about the fandom, it doesn’t turn out for the best (examples appear in the film). So, it’s perhaps better if people in the fandom portray it, rather than outsiders, because they know what it’s about and the misinformation about it. But while they can probably paint a more accurate and positive picture, I’m still not sure about how unbiased it will be. It might obscure some parts of the fandom that do need addressing.
If some rough edges and uncomfortable parts about the fandom perhaps weren’t entirely addressed, a heavy-toned film probably just wasn’t what they were aiming at. I think the whole point is to be a very lighthearted quasi-documentary for a wide range of audiences and ages. This is backed by a sometimes mellow yet nicely crafted soundtrack.
Do these faults I’ve mentioned bother me? Not really. It’s just that being a film person and having gone through film school means, inevitably, that every film I see will be subject to some criticism based on what I’ve learned. But it’s not necessarily negative. I like to always analyze and criticize film in a constructive manner, especially when I see a lot of effort was put in, or if I see that the makers did the best they could with what they had.
I guess these criticisms also come from someone who is a relative newcomer to the fandom. I’m a foot in and a foot out of it right now. I’m not saying that I would do it better, but no movie is exempt from criticism, and I try to do it constructively with the aim of improving. Like I said, these faults do not make me dislike this film nor does it make it bad, in any way.
As a side-note, in my opinion, one of the best films about the furry fandom is by Youtuber Fredrik Knudsen, in his video titled “Furry”, from his YouTube-series “Down The Rabbit Hole”. It has a very neutral approach, explaining the fandom’s beginnings, lows, and current state. It offers a very fair and objective assessment which I really enjoyed. And it was mostly done with archive footage and screen captures with voice-over, with no filming being done, but still looking very professional. From a person who is not from the fandom (as far as I know), his film is even less emotional, but not riddled with the inaccuracies or misconceptions the media have and sometimes still portray. In fact, it clearly shows he has done his research, and remains very neutral indeed. I imagine that’s why he won the Ursa Major Award for best Non-Fiction Work of 2018. It is still the best film I’ve seen about the fandom.
That said, the Ursa Major Award for this year’s Non-Fiction Work certainly deserves being awarded to “The Fandom”, unless something better comes out before the next award ceremony. It’s not mind-blowing nor a master-piece, but wasn’t meant to be, I suppose. It’s meant to be a heartwarming, sometimes informative, sometimes documental and a bit promotional film about the furry fandom. It’s very good in some bits, with a very professional look. For what it is, it’s a solid final product. And for me, that’s a very high bar already.

Can One's Personality Abruptly and Radically Change?
Is it possible for someone to change so suddenly from being a nice, kind and gentle person to being a degenerate piece of shite? Could something like that happen to me? The thought scares me. I know I shouldn't think about it. But my OCD keeps shoving it into my face. I don't want to be a bad person. I don't want to hurt people. I care about my friends and family. I love them. I never want to hurt them. These thoughts are making me break down because I know these thoughts aren't me. I'm just so afraid.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder will, indeed, make you obsess about things that upset you, by definition. Is it possible for someone's personality to change abruptly? Sure, but I see no reason why that would happen to you. People's personalities can change abruptly due to trauma or a medical condition. For example, a brain injury, stroke, or Alzheimer's can do this. Also, tragedy in one's life can change someone a lot (as I know from personal experience), such as the sudden loss of a spouse or child, suffering through combat in the military, or surviving a natural disaster.
But people usually don't change for no reason. You're not going to go walking down the street one day and suddenly turn into a douchebag.
I'm guessing your fear that you will suddenly hurt the people you love stems from your OCD. Therefore, the best solution for you is to work on your condition through therapy and/or medication. I certainly hope you are getting treatment, but, if you aren't, I would highly recommend you do.
In the meantime, I'm confident you will remain a sweet, caring person.

Showing the furry porn wasn’t 100% welcome, and even treated as invasive. It made a discussion about permission to share things posted in public.
There are legal technicalities of Fair Use or seeking permission which may not always match popular/practical usage. Many furry sites and accounts would be gone if copyright holders forced them to take down fan art that they thrive on. It can make a lot of grey zone that some artists dive into.
A lawyer could explain (I am not a lawyer), but remember that social media is media, and sharing is valuable to artists.
I don’t usually look at the Furry_IRL subreddit hosting the discussion about this, because why bother with hordes of people you don’t know on a flood of low-effort memes. (Overusing memes gets into what this is about — especially in a case like mass-scraping content from Furry_IRL and reposting it on Twitter to hack/cheat followers for clout and profit.)
In this case the comments got pretty thoughtful. I looked at complaints about showing a tweet without asking for permission first, then looked up articles about it. Many complaints seemed to belong on r/BadLegalAdvice but many saw good sides to it. Tweeting is like shouting in the public square and if you can’t quote stuff people don’t want you to quote, there’d be no reporting (or comedy).
The shared tweet literally asked to be looked at by outsiders. It was posted to 330 million Twitter users and beyond, who already gave permission to share. You own the stuff you created but Twitter has license to use it anywhere they want including letting other companies use it.
It doesn’t even look offensive by intention. John Oliver looks like an ally to me:

Keep in mind, I put my money where my mouth is. My articles about the Rat Erotica were a source that got little credit when the media picked up the story 5 years later. For many years I have been putting this content out for free, besides some nice Patreon subscriptions that barely cover a budget to pay artists. (I just love the fandom.) I’m happy to see them shared and sourced by other media.
News is one of the most exploited and least protected areas for this. The news industry is decimated by online sharing, and they don’t know how to preserve revenue and jobs. It’s good for everyone who likes the service and terrible for the service. Especially when it’s so essential in times of crisis. (Do you read the news? Do you pay for it?)

(Me:) I think John Oliver was making a benign wry joke. If he was malicious then I’d say he shouldn’t. It’s nice to blur a handle but I don’t think neglecting to do that is that bad. There’s so many cases where people get mad about credit or call it faked, or it’s a record that matters in the future. I think the TV appearance also helps make it easier for fans to be as bold as you please.

Between quoting by John Oliver’s media company (HBO) vs Kohl’s copying for a product — I liked HBO adding comment while copying art on socks doesn’t do that? But the real issue is if you can afford to defend your work. For 99% of fandom artists, disputes are way below the cost of going to court.
A million here, a million there; sooner or later, these people are talking about real money. One of the legal firms commenting about the Kohl’s case had a ‘best practices guide’ on how artists can protect their work pre-emptively.
Did you see the recent Twitter fiasco with the Bratz dolls CEO?
Besides the earlier incident a few months ago with the boyband brother who ripped off art from an artist, I’m surprised it hasn’t become more widespread.

Those overseas bootleg shirt sites are such a plague too. They offer a product for just a short time and make it impossible to fight theft.
Yeah, total fly-by-night operation. Double-bladed libertarian heaven/hell. Muh free market, & can’t use the government to sue their ass.
Best word for it. I looked into people making money by churning out meme shirts (with slogans, not stolen art) and it looked like a fun and interesting operation if you’re on top of looking at traffic stats. It had quite a shady side too with people poaching each other.
Do they trademark the slogans like “OK BOOMER”?

But — “The Atlantic just published a story about how making money off Internet memes is becoming harder and harder. The pace of online trends and the time frame for what people think is funny (or at least, funny enough to spend some money on) is too fast to keep up with.”
This makes me think that more niche internet stuff is more likely to show up in bigger media.
