So pretty much any time furry sexuality comes up, such as articles or things meant to explain furrys to non-furrys, there always seems to be a part in them about how the sexual side of the fandom (those who like the porn or nsfw rping stuff like that) is a small minority of furs and to me it seems to be implied that most of the fandom looks down on those who are into the sexual aspects of the fandom. As a furry who is very much into the sexual side of the fandom along with the nonsexual side I can safely say that all the furs I have met along with a vast majority of the art and writing are sexual. Now as I have never been to a convention, I am unaware of the general atmosphere although from what I have read there seams to be a mix of sexual and nonsexual elements.

So my question is what is your honest opinion? do the majority of furrys enjoy the sexual side of the fandom? Are the people trying to represent the fandom to non-furs just lying to present a better image? or is there a major area of the fandom I am missing, such as conventions, that are mostly nonsexual?

What's your bedroom like, for the better at explaining it. I'm curious what you've got your den set up like, is it super colorful or solid gray? Messy? Clean?

I live in a studio with my mate so...it's small and messy, but damn if it ain't comfy. We have a wall with the tv and 8 consoles (mostly Nintendo and PlayStation), and our gaming computers in the corner. The wolf den is perfect for us. Queen sized bed with enough blankets to build a fort across the entire apartment.

Well, since there's the occasional unpopular opinion thread, why not the opposite? What's your dearly-held popular fuzzy fumbling? Here's mine:

• Sexual depictions are immensely gratifying, and worthy of accolade. An artist aims for emotion, so what better apparatus than murrtastic porn?
• Fursuits are still too expensive and Loony Tunes-like. I want something that doesn't beg to be slapped, or jig like a drunken sailor.
• There are too many popular species and not enough unpopular ones.
• YCHs are like rolling a 20— fun if you're piloting, dull if you ain't.
• Angel-Dragons.

Let the amazing coincidences… begin!

Image Comics have been proudly announcing their new fantasy graphic novel Hinges, written and illustrated by Meredith McClaren. “This graphic novel introduces the nuts and bolts of a city called Cobble, where one girl new to the city, Orio, must depend on help wherever she can find it. Her assigned familiar, Bauble, has his own agenda however. As the two explore the walls of the city, they find they are not the only new arrivals. ” Her “assigned familiar” appears to be a cat, and Orio herself appears to be… constructed. Hi everyone! I'm kinda new to the fandom and I don't know anyone personally in it, so I thought I'd try posting here. I feel like I always should've been a part of the fandom, but I've got friends that don't exactly see it in the best light, so I kinda denied myself from thinking that I belonged in the fandom. I feel a bit better now that I've stopped lying to myself. I even told one of the naysayers (who I consider a pretty close friend of mine) and he's cool with it. I've been lurking this subreddit for about a week or so now and honestly I'm a little overwhelmed, but I wanna try and meet some new friends.
