I'm not really sure why, but I've never really felt like I really fit in with the community. Maybe I'm just having trouble finding the right people.

I'm not entirely sure what it is. I like animals, and I like animal-people, so I definitely fit the textbook definition of "furry". I think it might be just that the fandom tends to be all about the warm and fuzzy and cute. None of those are bad things, of course, but it just doesn't quite "click" with me, I guess.

I am not a furry. Sure, i do love animals (especially my cat), but i don't want to be an animal.

In fact, the only reason why i "joined" this community is because you guys are so welcoming and friendly (and because of Renard), but other communities are completely different :/ I thought i could finally make some real friends here.

I needed to get this off my chest before i say anymore to anybody

I'm Ashley, born and raised in Australia. I'm a trans-girl (which a lot of furries call 'herm', which is offensive to most and means something else entirely.)

I've been a furry officially since November, obsessed with wolves for years, and loved anthropomorphic animals since forever.

Nice to meet you guys, I hope to find some new friends in this community :3

I've seen a lot of people on forums take on commissions who in my opinion lack a lot of fundamental experience (ie not knowing basic anatomy, perspective, etc) and it just kinda feels like they're cheating the customer ;l
