A Quick Poll

Furry Reddit - Wed 4 Mar 2015 - 19:18

A few days ago I suggested a tf2 night, and someone mentioned I should set up a poll to determine the best location for a server host. I request you simply fill it out below and to upvote this post for visibility as I receive no karma for it.

What do you look for in the first chapter of a book?

Furry Reddit - Wed 4 Mar 2015 - 16:15

Hi all! I'm going to be starting an experimental project soon; It's a book that will largely be influenced by feedback from its readers. That's right - Readers of this book will be able to influence or even completely alter its outcome! This includes the characters involved, how they interact, the environments they go into, if things are more serious or more funny, and even...if or how much artwork is included.

I'm asking you guys because this book project will feature anthropomorphic characters! I've explored a handful of 'furry' books and comics available from publishers like Sofa Wolf or independent publishers, but being that 'furry' is so creative and varied, it's hard to know what more people will gravitate towards, and what sorts of characters fans will identify with.

Please note that at this time, this book would not involve any erotica or pornographic scenes; Romance is a definite possibility, but any "bedroom" scenes will have to be left at implications only. ;)

So please let me know what you think! What are some fantasy, fiction and science fiction books that you've read that gripped your attention right away, and why? What characters have you enjoyed the most?

Thanks in advance for any feedback you offer!
