Fursona back stories and character development
Hi guys, I was just wondering if any of you create stories and histories for your sona's.
What kinda thing do you come up with? Do you use existing universes or make your own?

I'm starting out drawing, and I'll admit, I suck. Bad. I need advice on this type of thing, and I've seen a lot of awesome art come out of this community, so I must ask.

Dammit a fursuit is like the dumbest thing to want to spend $3000 on!

It looks like both of my first favorite webcomics have ended. I'm kind of sad. Anyone else know any ended comics they miss?
The first was Wally and Osborne, also known as On The Rocks. It ended in 2008, with no clear reason. It was about a penguin and polar bear who were friends. Man, I loved this comic so much. It was such a tragedy when it ended for no clear reason. I bet others here remember this strip from sites like Funbrain.
The other is The Book Of Biff. It's a single panel comic about a guy with long eyebrows and no hair, and he does crazy things and is able to recover from anything. I actually found this comic from a banner ad on the Wally and Osborne website. The gags are always hilarious and clever. It stopped in september 2014, came back for two christmas comics, and nothing has happened since. I'm not sure if some tragedy happened in Chris' life or what, but people are calling time of death.
These were pretty much the first things I started regularly following on the internet, and now it's sad to see them both be gone! What about you? Does anyone else have memories like this?

Thinking about making a guild wars 2 guild

Ideas for a furry site name?
Why are some fursonas more common than others?
Usually when I ask someone why they have the fursona they have, they say something along the lines of "I associate well with their behaviors." If that's true, does anyone actually research for an animal they can associate with instead of picking an animal they're familiar with like a fox or wolf?
