I've been looking into a lot of stuff about "self-publishing" and came across a site called blurb and have a really kick ass story idea I've been sleeping on for the past week. It isn't officially a furry book but I may change my mind after the first draft or so.
plus it'd be hella cheap! the sites prices drop 10-30% based on how many copies I sell, and I can even set it up on Amazon as paper or e copy! the price would be somewhere between 3 and 5 dollars w/ shipping. As soon as I get a basic plot spreadsheet done I'll post it at request. ^-^

ITT: Why did you choose the species you chose for your fursona?
Personally, I chose a raccoon for myself because I simply love causing mischief, coming up with schemes and such. maybe a little because I like eating junk food

I love the double standard in this community about artists and commissioners
This being relevant to what a redditor posted complaining about an artist scheduling a time and date to do a stream commission the artist missed it and the Commissioner was justifiably upset. I love the fact that everyone jumped on him/her about being an self entitled asshole which i find appalling.
Now Looking at the history of this subreddit i can list countless posts of artist bitching and posting Memes about how bad their customers are and not a single replay saying you should talk to customers that way. I also hear many artist demanding to be treated like professionals and that is not a away professionals treat their customers no matter how bad.
My end point being is if you promise something do it on the day you promised or be prepared to bite the bullet *figureofspeech. especially if you have already accepted their money and have been paid, because in the real world if you break a contract you could be in trouble. Just saying.

A Public Apology (Sidebar)
I wanted to post an apology. The sidebar thing should not have gone down the way it did. I screwed up, and own up to that mistake.
We're currently rolling back the changes on both live and beta, and will not be making those sort of drastic changes again without some warning and further community testing and involvement.
Again, I'm apologize for the poor implementation. It could have, should have, gone far, far better. That said, we ARE dedicated to improving the site, making changes and fixes to improve quality-of-life across the board, and are working to bring long awaited features to fruition (see: the mythical pink unicorn, "Folders" and better mobile functionality through our public Beta UI).
