CrushYiffDestroy.com pulled from server

Freeola.net has pulled the site Crush...Yiff...Destroy.com from their servers. Viewed just prior to its deletion, the site said it was in violation of the Terms of Service from Freeola.net. When the site was checked later in the day it gave a 404 error (site does not exist).

Yippi-kay-yay motherf-er, I didn't like that site in the least, that and people like Schwartz probably found out about it and filed a lawsuit for defamation of character and slander or something.
Ok, so it's wild speculation, but a dragon can dream, can't he?

I -ALMOST- wanted to see it, out of morbid curiosity...but it got pulled before I had a chance.
Most likely that's all for the better.
Smile! The world could use another happy person.
I never saw the site-
But there is a HUGE difference between "satire" and libel. (Written form of slander.")
All I can say is that there IS some justice in the universe!

Yeah... it went a lot like the MTV spot (as much as I hate to rub salt in an as-yet-still-open wound), basically uninformed idiots, disses, whining, bitching and jealousy.

Greetings to all. I'm the one who wrote the blurb, thought I should give a personal comment explaining more. I started looking at it just before class and I couldn't believe what I saw. Satire or no it was terrible the way they portrayed furries, especially about artists like Eric Schwartz. One of the articles implied that ALL furry artist will make some sort of downward spiral from tame stuff to spooge. I would have looked at it more but I had to go to class.
When I came back I saw the TOS message, saying that the site was in violation. Checked here to see if it had been reported, and saw that it had not. So I made an account, and kept checking the site just to make sure it wasn't a fluke thing (University net connection was screwy today). By the time I got registered it had been pulled down.
I just discovered Flayrah.com a few days ago and I'm very glad it exists. Maybe if I'm lucky like I was today I'll help with providing more news. :)

Eh, I am happy to see things like this... If you can't make fun of yourself and ahve a good chuckle, then you are taking yourself WAY too seriously. I have quite a collection of furry satire, myself... Just waiting for Mad mag to do a furry story(if they ahvent already)

It is one thing to poke fun at something, either in fun or in satire. It's quite another to grandstand and make baseless hateful allegations against people you do not like.
You cannot take a petty vendetta against someone and publish it, then claim it was all just satire and thus protected speech. I'm a big believer in freedom of speech. But I'm also a big believer in accountability, too. If someone publishes a mess of lies to make someone else look bad, then they have to accept the consequences.
Reality is not only stranger than we think, it's stranger than we CAN think!
Eh, welcome to the real world. If YOU want YOUR free speach, then you gotta let the other guy have HIS say as well. Regardless if YOU agree with his information or not.
Read it again. He said those speaking are accountable for what they say, not that they cannot say something unpleasant.
Greetings.
As one of the people responsible for "Crush Yiff Destroy", I might as well clarify a few things for you guys out there in furryland.
The site is an ongoing project. Although not yet finished, it is in an advanced stage of development. As many of you saw, several sections are incomplete and some of the articles are drafts. Knowledge of it's existence was not meant to be made public until the site was ready for prime time. We pulled it when we learned that the URL had been leaked. (As far as I know the removal was not due to a TOS violation. Even if it was, our choice of hosting for the site was not intended to be permanant.)
So there you have it. I know many of you have some questions, and I also know that many of you are willing to write long messages on how immature I am and how you're not paying attention to me and all that stuff, but regrettably that will all have to wait for a later date.

Why does this remind me of the Farside comic strip of "What dogs really hear?" Or the infamous Monty Python "Spam" skit....
"Can I have Melodrama, Melodrama, Melodrama, Melodrama, Melodrama, Melodrama, Melodrama, Melodrama, Melodrama, Melodrama, Furry and Melodrama, please? "
"YEEEGGGHHHH!"
"What do you mean YEEEGGGHHHH? I love Melodrama in my Furry!"
"Can I just have Melodrama, Furry, Yiff and Melodrama - but without quite so much Melodrama?"
"I'll have your Meoldrama then... I love it!"

If you didn't want it public you shouldn't have uploaded it.... oh wait, I forgot, that's something I learned from Chythar, he works for actual professionals.
Carry on then.
Whoops! That was me, for some reason I wasn't logged in automatically as usual.
