I couldn't help but share my view on the issue of criticism when I saw the topic come up earlier today.

Here's the video I made. I tried my best to sum everything I had to say up. This is my attempt at calming the not-really-drama-but-people-keep-calling-it-that down, basically.

Also, even though my channel's mildly furry themed, this is the first time I've outright mentioned furries, so, yeah.

Let me know what you think. I just hope nobody takes the video the wrong way, I meant it in a positive way to help work towards fixing the issue.

Hey there everyone! I was thinking about a more organized/fair way of giving away free art and thought that a raffle was the best option. After messing with my style a bit I figured that this would be a good way to show it off! At 10:00 MDT (roughly 7 hours from now) I will do the drawing. Three lucky furs will be receiving a full body drawing with all the fixins (Cell shading, simple bg, etc) Five others will get headshots.

How to enter: All you need to do to enter is to simply leave a comment saying that you wish to participate. Don't worry about ref sheets for now, I will pm the winners to get all that stuff.

Hey people! I have been a long time lurker on this website, and have been putting off doing a post like this, but I have seen a couple recently and I'm currently laid up after getting my wisdom teeth out, so I though there is no time like the present. Well anyway I'm a 16 year old from the central valley of California, I love ultralight backpacking and weight training, and have been a Furry since before I knew there was a word and community for how I felt (probably around 3 years). I only live around 30 Minutes away from the upcoming PAW con. and I was wondering do you guys think is is a good idea to go? I'm only 16 but have a car and a job so getting there isn't a problem along with having a room, I am more concerned with the fact that I don't know any Furries at all, online or off. I have a good group of friends and am pretty social but still am unsure. It might be a bit of a culture shock for me, seeing that I have been kind of alone with how I feel inside for awhile (and haven't told anyone I'm a Furry). Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and hopefully get at least a little involved with the community here and meet some new people. I have seen how friendly you guys are and hope to talk to a few of you. (P.S. my 'sona is a grey wolf with small red spots, I haven't had any commissions done because I'm a little embarrassed but maybe soon.)

I've got some time on my hands and was wonder if anyone wanted a free pencil sketch (mostly head shots unless you ask for more).

I've noticed something recently, on /r/furry. You're not allowed to say anything negative. Ever. You can't oppose the content of someone's art, you can't critique pieces unless you're oozing a sort of praise riddled comment that only covers the basis of what's wrong with a piece, you can't say that you don't like certain fetishes, you can't even judge certain people based on their actions. If you do, and you put this into written form, you get covered in a wave of snarky, immature comments, and downvoted. Why aren't we allowing people to express non-hateful, yet negative opinions?
